Westview Builders

I deal with different builders in town and Westview builders has a worst customer service ever. They do have great floorplans,and I should give credit to their architect team for that, but the customer service and construction specialist are really a shame. Will not reccomend to deal with them. My house was deleyed 3 months and it took them over a year to fix most of the problems, but not all.

Westview is a company who's method of operation it to make all of the promises you want to hear. Once you have made a commitment they just do not care about you, your home, or the promises they made to you. Some of the trades they hired were not too bad, but Westview employees were extreamly poor in doing their job. Westview cares only about Westview. They do not care at all about their customers. We have been in our home for 1 year, 7 mth. We are still finding things which Westview was very negligent about. I would not recommend Westview, and we would not purchase from them again.

We have owned 2 Westview homes and we have been very happy with them. The first was a spec home that we had little input into but we loved everything about it except the lot so we decided to build the same house on a different lot.

During the build, we did many visits to check the process of the build and the items we had issues with were dealt with fairly quickly. The salespeople were great and incredibly helpful. The site supervisor was always willing to listen to our suggestions and to try and accommodate the changes that we wanted. When we moved in, there were only a few small "nitpicky" items that were dealt with or scheduled to be fixed at a later date.

With the first house that we had with them, there were some warranty issues that had to be fixed very quickly and they responded to that demand without any issue at all. Some of the less urgent warranty issues, took a long time to be rectified and we had problems with trades people not showing up when they were supposed to which was an inconvenience but again, these were small issues.

If you do build with Westview, I recommend doing many walkthroughs throughout the building process to ensure that things are being completed exactly how you want them. The only negative that I have about this new house was that during the possession day walkthrough, our "nitpicky" items seemed to be regarded as insignificant. Even though they weren't major items, they still mattered to us after spending a considerable amount of money to have our new house built. It is a huge investment for us and we want our home to be as perfect as possible.

We would definitely build with Westview again, although we are hoping to stay in this house for a long time!

We built our house with Westview Builders and we are happy with the outcome.They didn't say that it will be finished in 6 months but rather in 10 months which they did.We thought that compared with other builders,they didn't have their own design center,that this would be a problem/disadvantage but it turned out to be much better.We went to different places/suppliers to select the materials for the house which we found very satisfying since there is so much to choose from unlike with an in house design center with limited selections.
We had an issue with the washer and dryer but it was resolved and we didn't pay anything to fix the problem.When contractors are parking on our driveway or in the front,we asked for a sign that it is a private residence and the following day,they had the sign put up.Overall,we are satisfied with Westview,they are not as expensive as other builders, and most of the materials which is an upgrade to other builders,it's standard with them,so I highly recommend Westview Builders to those who want to build a house.

So far so good! We bought our Westview spec home early enough in the construction stage to make a few changes. We had excellent dealings with the showhome sale agents and they came through with our - most important - move in date. The after care team has been very easy to work with and any deficiencies upon move in were taken care of immediately. Overall, we are very happy with our new home, both quality and service.

If you want a nightmare, then build with Westview Builders. Unfinished, unreliable, and unprofessional - just a few words to describe the service received by these builders. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Unbelievably poor customer service. Our contract to build a home with Westview was signed in May 2013 and they have still not broken ground - there has been ZERO progress on the construction. Nobody will give us answers as to why everything is delayed. In addition, they lost all the changes we gave them to blueprints and none of our interior selection appointments were scheduled properly. There have been mistakes, disorganization, and horrible service every step of the way. I highly recommend that people find a different builder to deal with.
