Impact Zone

I don't normally write reviews but I was impressed by Kim's integrity. I moved from High river to Calgary and there was a miscommunication between the movers, their office and myself regarding the timing of their arrival. Although they were late they worked well past their office hours to get the job done. The moving went very well as they worked hard and efficiently. When I paid, I paid half in cash and half on my credit card. Unfortunately there was a mistake with how much my credit card was charged. When I called Kim regarding this he promptly checked the charge amount and told me he would reimburse me the difference. It’s good to see the ownership attitude, hard work and integrity that impact zone provided.

I typically don't write reviews but the amazing service I received from Kim and Kevin warrant recognition.
Due to water damage in my building I was forced to vacate in 3 days. I emailed Kim Tuesday to assist with my move Friday. They were able to help and arrived at 4:00 (their 3rd move that day). Given the situation there were several people moving out at the same time. Kim and Kevin were very courteous and respectful during the whole process.
Upon arrival at my storage locker it was determined it was too small. The guys were very patient while I secured a larger unit. They were very efficient with their time and completed my move in short order.
I will be calling them when it's time to move into my new home and will HIGHLY recommend them to others.

We used impact zone last year for two moves. Their quotes were very reasonable, they were very willing to go above and beyond and they were very careful with moving our furniture. We would recommend them and use them again in the future.

My Mother sold her condo and could not sell all her furniture and closing date was quite short. We called Impact Zone and they accommodated us promptly and moved various pieces of furniture like her antique dining room set and 6 chairs and a 3 person sofa to an Auction House to be auctioned off.
As we still had a large 3 piece display cabinet that we could not sell, my mother decided to keep at the last moment and I asked Kevin if he could move this piece also but to My Mother's new Seniors home. He gave me a reasonable quote and 2 days later he came and carefully moved that piece to the other side of town.
What he quoted originally is what we paid, no hidden extras.
Kim and Kevin were very professional and eager to help, and courteous .They also took a couple of items that were left over to take to charitable organizations as opposed to me taking them to the city landfill...Kevin volunteered to this at no extra charge. Super guys, super service !!!

We contracted Impact Zone for moving our house, turns out it is a totally wrong decision. First of all, we booked the service in 2weeks before actual moving, however when we called Kim multiple time in one week, just to confirm whether we are still good for the move due to the weather, he couldn't even find our appointment. Out stuffs include one master bedroom, one living room, plus two baby cribs, and one treadmill, and one elliptical, took them nearly 10 hours to complete the moving. The reason provided by Kim is because they have no idea how to de-assemble the treadmill, and the baby outdoor play set, and also to put them back on when they been shipped to the new house. For the elliptical, they decided not to spent time learning how to take it apart, instead they just simply pushed it up to the truck through the concrete floor and metal trail, that eventually caused the bottom part been broken into pieces. And the power cord been missing, we been using the elliptical all the time even one day before the move. Really funny part is Kim told me that they will have to leave the wardrobe in the garage because our mudroom is not high enough, and he, on purposed, put the corner wardrobe against the other item to make sure it will not fall down, because he knew the bottom part was broken during the moving, and he left w/o saying a word about that. Unfortunately we only found that out on the 2nd day when we tried to moved the wardrobe back into the mudroom, the entire bottom part of the corner wardrobe been put aside and broken, there is no way we can put it back on no matter how hard we tried. The corner wardrobe was perfectly standing together with the rest of the wardrobes, however Kim told me it was broken even before they moved it. Total damages caused by Impact Zone during the moving is $200, given the items we bought in about a year ago, (corner wardrobe $145 with new item, power cord $39.99, and bottom piece of elliptical is $150), Kim only agreed to pay $100.
Almost forgot, they left for lunch at 12:50pm, and came back at 1:30pm, nearly 40min while Kim only count 15min as lunch break.
Lesson learnt:
1. DO NOT believe what Kim's sales pitch about insurance they have can fully cover any possible damages during the moving, that will NEVER happen under any circumstance.
2. DO NOT believe they said how professional and experienced they are about how to take apart the furniture, and any equipment you have in house, and put them back on again, because they don't know how to do it.
3. Check every item they move make sure they are still functioning, at least can be standing w/o leaning against anything in the same day before you write a chq.
Recommend this company to my closest friends and family? Hell NO, GO Elsewhere!

We have used Impact Zone twice for large moves and are about to use them again next week. We found Colby and Kim to be so professional and hard working. They were very careful with our furniture, put everything together and placed it and never complained about some of our heavy things having to go up the stairs. I would use them again for sure!

Hired Impact Zone based on good reviews and was not disappointed. They arrived on time, did a very good job moving our furniture. They were very friendly and professional, gave us helpful suggestions, and even hauled away an unwanted piece of furniture to a donation centre at no charge. They had the best price of the companies we contacted, and there were no additional costs added on moving day. Very pleased and would recommend them!

A friend referred me to Impact Zone and I was hesitant and called twice (unnecessarily to confirm). Kim and Justin had a very difficult job of moving my stuff up 3 narrow flights of stairs including a very large and heavy cabinet which they then had to turn around and take back down as it wouldn’t fit. They were polite, friendly and very careful with the walls and the furniture. They took care to put all the labelled boxes where they belonged. It was like having family move me. I even left them while I was running back to the old house and they called me to tell me that the Shaw guy had arrived early. Outstanding customer service!

Justin and the team from Impact Zone were fantastic. They arrived very close to the time agreed to (they called to advise they were slightly delayed), they showed care in handling our belongings and respect for our homes. There were a few small challenges, which they met calmly and professionally. The move could not have gone better and compared to other movers we have had, they were stellar!

Moved my things from home to uhaul - honoured my moving day and time (even with a last minute staffing issue), kept me updated on timing of their arrival, got the move done in an hour, packed it perfectly and a pleasure to talk to. Can't recommend them enough - did such a great job!
