RoadRunners Moving & Storage

I recently moved and decided to go with movers this time. I was a little hesitant at first as I have heard many horror stories on moving companies, so I did some research and read reviews and couldn’t find any bad reviews about this company so I hired them. They were very professional and experienced. They confirmed my appointment a few days before, showed up on time, came with all necessary moving supplies, and wrapped all of my breakables. I live in a condo so I had to book elevators at only a certain time. We were running short on time and Paul and Harri worked extra hard to make sure we got all of my stuff out in time. When it came time for billing the price was exactly as quoted with no “extra” fees you would hear about from other companies. I would definitely use them again on my next move.

A Great move experience. They took care of all my belongings, wrapped everything, broke nothing, and got the entire move done in a few short hours.

Our move was a challenging one. We were moving from a 4th floor loft with no elevator into a house. The move took longer than expected and cost more than quoted however I must say that Brendon, Paul and his team are very conscientious and professional. They took care of each piece of furniture by properly wrapping and carefully moving each one. I've used a lot of movers in the past few years and while these guys ended up costing a bit more, they were most definitely worth it... especially if you have pieces you care about.

Great service, especially considering it was during a snow storm. They took great care of all of our belongings, everything made it to the new place and no lost or damaged items. We moved on January 3rd 2011 using RoadRunners after finding them online. They answered my many questions via email and always got back to me promptly and professionally. I told them I wanted to start the move between 8 and 9 am and they showed up promptly at 9. all of our furniture pieces were wrapped very carefully and not one single thing got broken or scratched during the move. They put everything exactly where I asked them to and even helped me reassemble everything and place it where I wanted it. I was very skeptical of hiring movers due to the horror stories everyone seems to have but these guys put all these others to shame!! The only thing you need to make sure of is to let them know if you have stairs or long walks. It ended up costing me some extra because they went over their flat rate time limit but the owner was very reasonable in dealing with me and didnt charge me for the full 2 hours it went over, which definitely impressed me as most movers would attempt to make as much cash as they can from you. The mover they employed was polite and professional as well. Overall they took an experience that was stressful and made it so much easier! I will recommend them to anybody :)

I was going to book another moving company I'd heard about, but I thought I would do some research online first. That's when I came across this site (Homestars)and saw that while the other company had mixed reviews, Roadrunners had 10s across the board. In fact, I was almost skeptical... it sounded too good to be true! When I requested a quote from Roadrunners, I soon found out they were indeed professional, courteous and a very well-run business. From the time I first contacted Roadrunners for a quote to the time they provided the bill, I was very pleased with the interaction I had with Brendon and Paul. I was quickly relieved with the process and these folks were very trustworthy. They threw in the wrapping materials, including a new disposable mattress wrap, wardrobe boxes (which cost $18 at the U-Haul store if you buy them) and furniture wrapping at no additional charge. They arrived 30 minutes before I had the elevator booked in order to carefully wrap my furniture thoroughly and treated everything with care. I will be moving again within the year and will definitely go with this company again! Thanks Brendon and Paul!

When I had to move, I was very trepidatious, having heard horror stories about unscrupulous moving companies. I did some research on Homestars and Roadrunners was one of two companies that looked good. I emailed them and both got back to me promptly. What set Roadrunners apart from the outset was not just their professionalism but their warmth and kind, caring attitude which came through in their email correspondence with me, as well as the effort they expended in allaying my concerns and giving me all the information I needed. They really went above and beyond in every way. I had to move under very trying personal circumstances and both Brendon and Paul were sensitive, flexible and accomodating as the date and even the parameters of the move changed. What was originally going to be a move to a storage locker with an elevator turned into a move to a new address with four flights of stairs and the heavy boxes were all going up! I had even more stuff than I had anticipated and not all of it was ready to go so they worked overtime (infringing on their own personal plans) with never a complaint. They were careful with all of my things and meticulous about putting everything in the correct place. They even offered to move the rest of my things from the storage locker at a discount at a later date. Above all, however, Paul and Brendon were so nice and friendly that they made a very difficult experience practically pleasurable! I would recommend them without reservation to anyone who needs to move.

OK first off I have a lot of stuff - lots of difficult stuff to move for an average three bedroom house. I have a full bedroom set of solid ash furniture (nice and heavy)! I have a fully built office with six large 8-foot tall bookshelves! I have a full gym in my basement - and not just one machine. We're talking about a bench press, lat down machine, punching bag, roman chair, leg press, treadmill, bike and about 1000 lbs in weights! And I also moved my washer, dry and freezer too! Ohh and I have a older 65" rear projection TV which needs to be split into two pieces to go anywhere ... I have so much stuff RoadRunners had to do two trips with their 26" truck to get it all in and both trips the truck was pretty much full - 16 hours in total!! They did so without breaking or damaging a single item and with no complaints. They wrapped every piece of furniture in thick blankets, took apart furniture for easy moving, brought wardrobe boxes for my clothes and did the move with a level of professionalism and care that went way beyond what I was expecting! I care about my stuff and I can honestly say that if you do too you should let RoadRunners orchestrate your move! They were ontime, professional, careful, well-priced, personable and overall just a great group of guys to spend a - what could have been a stressful - day with! Best moving experience possible!

Brendon and Paul were organized and well prepared when moving contents of my condominium. They were fast, efficient and most importantly, on time. They handled every item with extreme care. My storage unit was strategically & carefully packed. I am in the real estate business & will definitely refer them to my clients. Thank you for a most pleasant experience.

Had to move an antique dining-room table last min. from a tricky cul-du-sac street to an area in Cedarvale/York where the streets are directionally varying one ways. Roadrunners were on time, efficient, trustworthy,competitively priced, and really nice guys. If you're looking for a stress-free move call them. Got to them through referral and have already passed on their info.
