English Painter

I can't do much better than to echo and agree with all the positive reviews posted here for English Painter.
I own what I guess is one of the last homes in Toronto covered completely with wood siding- 2 storeys, peeling, mouldy in parts, not so good. An onerous job I was not looking forward to.
But English Painters made it pretty much pain free. They did a top-notch looking job fast and well, and were also very helpful with other related related things like putting up a new porch light and assisting me with replacing some rotted stair steps.
I think it always pays to go with guys who enjoy their work. English Painters were certainly like that.

The English Painter was recommended by a neighbour who said we'd be very happy with their work, and indeed we are. They are prompt, courteous, professional and most important they do excellent work. Everything was arranged efficiently beforehand by email and with one site visit to provide an estimate. They turned up exactly when they said they would and had the job finished in a day and a half. It looks great! Thanks to all at The English Painter. We recommend them with confidence.

We were very pleased with the work done by Gareth the English Painter and his crew. They were courteous, unobtrusive, professional and did an excellent job. The job started when they said it would and the job took exactly the time they said it would. And they cleaned up the job site every night. We could not ask for more. Thanks!

They seriously sanded real good, then they painted real nice. They even fixed our rotting wood column bases. Friendly guys, did a great job, in a reasonable amount of time. The front of my house looks like new. English Painter did a great job. English Painter, that's right. They are good peeps.

Gareth and his crew were an absolute delight to work with. Very professional, personable, efficient and quick, yet job was completed to our satisfaction with reasonable pricing. We will definitely have them back for more work in the future without hesitation. Highly recommend this painter!!!

Love these guys, exceptional work, completely reliable, and a pleasure to have around. We will use them again and again, he went above and beyond as we were preparing for a big party at the house and Gareth made suggestions and repaired thing that had nothing to do with painting.

We recently hired the English Painter to paint the entire exterior of our house. Gareth came out to give us a quote earlier in the Spring and was very clear on the work required, when it could be done and a no pressure quote was provided within a day or two. The team spent two days painting our house, front porch, stairs and railings and we couldn't be happier with the result. Their attention to detail was impressive, this was not a slap on paint job. They were done on time and on budget and the result was fantastic. We will definitely hire them next time we need painting done.

We hired English Painter to do our new home, every paintable surface needed to be done! Despite the constraints of having to work around other contractors outside our or their control, all the work was done with good quality and care! We are happy with the service provided! Gareth came back a few weeks later to touch up a few spots, where different lighting highlighted a few blemishes. Gareth an Carol we’re great to work with! Gareth provided advice on how to tackle other reno issues we were dealing with! And he took great interest in some of our other home improvement projects!

Gareth is great to work with, very personable and knows his stuff. I would highly recommend him for any painting job. He'll be back to do more work for me in the spring. It was late in the year for painting but thanks to a warm Fall, Gareth was able to squeeze the job in. I am very pleased with the work.
