I contacted Home Cleaning Service to look after the post renovation cleaning. They did an incredible job on such a short notice. The homeowner was very impressed, which in turn impressed me. I will definetly be using the company for future post renovation cleaning.

What can I add to the superlative reviews these two have gotten on the site. I think it's the attention to detail that makes the most difference. Not only was the place immaculate (after the deep cleaning the first time, then after a shorter cleaning a month later), but several things I did not ask for were also done. For example, there was some paper stuck to an ikea table (it had gotten wet and stuck), and they just went ahead and cleaned it up, along with a roasting dish in a toaster oven I'd forgotten about.

They're really nice, fast, and do a great job.

This is the second time Jacob and Rose came to clean the apartment my mother and I live in. I wasn't there the first time so I waiting until now to write a review. I stuck around while they cleaned after saying a quick hello and went off to do my own thing in the apartment- it was like I wasn't even there. And they didn't seem to mind my presence one bit! The deep cleaning was great- they just did what they needed to do after my mom left while I kept an eye on the place. They didn't ask me one question! Just how I like it because I don't really have any answers.... The place was immaculate after they left. My stuff was left undisturbed which is how I like it while my mom's stuff was put into order.

These two own their own company so it is like getting a private cleaning lady in their service- they just do what needs to be done- with a professional demeanor and level of trust you get from a company... Best of both worlds!

I had my 2 bedroom apartment cleaned by Home Cleaning Service on Monday, Aug.9 2011.
It is now Thursday, Aug.12 2011 and I am just getting around to sending off a review at this time.
The reason for the delay is that whenever I am home I just keep looking around and marveling at how fantastic my dwelling looks. And then I look around again, and marvel once more. I woke up in the middle of the nite, turned on the lights and walked around. I could have sworn I was dreaming. Either that or I had died and gone to heaven. My place looks THAT good. Jacob and Katia from Home Cleaning Service arrived at the exact appointed time and got to work immediately. Now, knowing that I would be having two people I did not know in my home to clean everywhere and everything, made me feel rather uneasy. I mean that’s my personal stuff ! And they were strangers. In my home ! I figured I would have to keep an eye on things, if you know what I mean. After meeting Jacob and Katia and conversing with them for a few minutes I immediately decided that I would feel comfortable enough to leave them alone with all my wordly possesions. They are that great kind of people. So I left and dropped in after two hours to put away groceries I had just bought. In a way I wish I hadn’t done so, just because I would have liked to come back once the job was fully completed. The wow factor after just the two hours was over the top. The finished job was truly amazing. My place has NEVER looked so good. Sorry, I mean so GREAT ! Every nook and cranny, baseboard, inside cupboards, flat screen TV, computer monitors, walls, doors, ceiling and floors are spotless. As is everything else. Did I mention my like new toaster-oven?
The minimal amount of money I spent on the four hours of work (times two people) is, I am certain one of the wisest ways I have ever invested my money.
Katia and Jocob, thank you from the bottom of my heart. You have really given me a new outlook!

Jacob and Katia did a thorough and conscientious job cleaning our 1100 sq. foot loft from top to bottom. They used great products and continually checked in to see if we were pleased and what else they could do to ensure we were happy. Jacob outdid himself making a gunky shower shine again! I will use them again for sure.

I'm really satisfied with the work Rose and Jacob did cleaning my place and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others since they not only have a really strong work ethic and great attention to detail but they are really sweet and a pleasure to have in your house. I just moved into a dusty basement apartment and I gave them a list of priority tasks that mostly involved dust (since I'm allergic) that I thought could take the whole 3 hours. They ended up speeding through those to tackle pretty much every spot in the place (the only thing they didn't have time to do was move out the fridge and stove and clean behind it). Jacob actually discovered that part of my vacuum was broken and tried to fix it by cleaning it out. He also cleaned out the dust from the bathroom fan without me asking him too (or even thinking of it). They bring their own materials with them which is pretty convenient since it saves you from having to shop for supplies.

Jacob and Rose did an amazing job. I would recommend them to anyone who needs their home cleaned. We moved to this place and got Jacob and Rose to clean it as it was rather disgusting. As they were progressing through the cleaning it felt more and more like home. It is not often that you get a couple of young people as hard working as they are. We are really greatful for their work.

Jacob and Katia graciously came and did a deep cleaning of my 2 bedroom condo on short notice, and on a long weekend! They both did an amazing job and I was very impressed with the result. I would highly recommended them.

We found Jacob and Rose through Homestars and were really glad we did. We had basically completed renovations on our entire house and were about to move in. We needed cleaning services right away, and Jacob and Rose really came through for us.

We had a list of items that we wanted completed, but some of the renovations changed our plans on that day. Jacob was great in asking what direction we wanted to go in so that he could continue working and not waste any time. And they really worked!

They dusted our walls and ceilings, cleaned our new built in closets, and thoroughly cleaned our kitchen and washroom - They were great. Use them, you will not be disappointed.

Jacob & Rose came to our rescue on short notice to help clean our 1 bedroom condo. The condo was left in a horrible state because of the previous tenant. They arrived a little earlier then the scheduled time to be ready to start right at the scheduled time. They did a great job, paying attention to every little detail in the kitchen and in the bathroom. I was surprised they were able to do such a great job in only 4 hours. They are professional, hard working and they had great attitudes with big smiles! I would most definitely recommend them. Thank you very much!
