We've purchased from Shades of Home twice now to complete our entire home. We are extremely satisfied with both the product and installation of all of our custom drapes and shades. Marie is amazing to work with and really knows what she is doing. She is extremely professional, patient, and insightful when it comes to different trends and style options. We highly recommend Marie of Shades of Home (Oakville) to anyone looking to get custom window treatments for their home.

We just moved in to a new two story house in Mississauga and hired Shades of Home to get shades/blinds for all the major windows of our house (total of almost 15 shades). Marie was great in guiding us through all the different choices. She came to our house to see the space as well.

While it did take some time for the order to come through, the shades were installed expediently by Raj, and he was always happy to help (whether by phone or coming to the house) for minor adjustments.

The product itself was amazing. We got mainly mandalay shades, but also shutters in the bathrooms. The major windows were motorized and the product works amazingly.

We encountered a minor issue when the incorrect shutter was installed in our bathroom. Marie arranged for the product to be exchanged immediately and now everything is top notch.

Great customer service! And they had VERY competitive pricing. For all 15 shades (with multiple that were motorized), Shades of Home was STILL cheaper than the same number of shades WITHOUT motorization from the competitors.

Looking for blinds without a heavy handed sales pitch? Shades of Home is your best option! I would highly recommend them. Marie came to my home within days of my calling her. She was extremely knowledgeable, explained the plethora of options available and took exact measurements with a special tool (so there is no room for errors). She also provided me with a quotation the same day. I didn't have to deal with any pushy sales pitch or marketing gimmicks. Solid, professional services.
