Shades Of Home

We are thrilled with the end result of the drapery panels and shades selected for our condo by Marie - Shades of Home.
The window placement in the bedrooms are odd and I was at a loss as to what to do. Marie was patient, honest and extremely helpful to solve this dilemma.
Marie gave us numerous fabric choices for our living and dining rooms and the end result is perfect!
Raj and his team were phenomenal! Extremely efficient and his goal was to ensure we were happy. Would highly recommend Shades of Home.

Working with Marie at Shades of Home was an incredible experience. From the first interaction, she was very professional, worked diligently to source any of the material they didn’t have on hand and helped us with every question we had. She let us know of any potential delays and was always responsive.
The quality of the work is really remarkable. The drapes have transformed our house into a home. We honestly couldn’t be happier.
Lastly, we need to call out the installation itself. Raj and his team were wonderful to work with - they finished each room quickly and made sure there were no wrinkles in the fabric.

Marie brought numerous samples to my home and helped me with the decision and I am very pleased with the end result. The installation team were very professional but also very personable and did lovely job installing the blinds and sheers. They also took away all the wrappings and left everything neat and tidy. We bought a loft with floor to ceiling windows in the living room and bedroom. Both rooms face south and are directly across the street from an apartment building. Besides wanting privacy we also needed a little shade from the heat of the sun. We opted for dual shades in both room to solve both issues.
Steve was extremely helpful, not only from the initial online enquiries, but with the in-store visit to organize the details.
And then there was Raj, the installer, who makes it look like the shades have always been there. Great attention to detail!

Our experience with Shades of Home was fantastic. We walked into the Toronto showroom with little to no ideas for our build. Marie gave us great ideas for our whole house. We recently purchased Hunter Douglas Sonnette motorized roller blinds from Shades of Home for both our bedrooms (3 windows in all). Steve met us at our home and clearly guided us through the process of selecting the best blinds for our needs as well as a suitable colour for our decor. He carefully measured the window frames, suggesting just how the blinds should best be placed within the frame, and his measurements turned out to be absolutely accurate. He provided very competitive pricing on the product and kept us up to date on the order delivery time from Hunter Douglas. Steve was also very thoughtful and accommodating in arranging an installation time that fit with our schedule. The installation itself was done by Raj and his assistant and went flawlessly.

We were very pleased with the end results! Marie made the process easy and seamless which we appreciated. Marie's expertise helped us select the correct window treatments and fabrics for our space. She was also very collaborative and responsive to our needs. The installers were amazing. They were on time, tidy, very experienced, detail oriented, efficient and very respectful of our home (i.e. the walls and flooring). Thank you again to all. Well worth thd investment.
