After having 2 other contractors show up to give a quote never to be heard from again, I found the Eavestrough Company through an online search. Wendell was kind, professional, and a great help in helping us to choose new colours for the eavestroughs, fascia and soffit to really compliment the house. The crew that did the installation were all friendly, prompt, professional and hardworking. They did a beautiful job. Wendell also recommended an electrician to replace our potlights and he did an excellent job as well. Our house looks brand new! After reading some reviews here on HomeStars, I decided to give The Eavestrough Co. a shout to see if my project that I wanted completed this Spring was of interest to them or not and if so, if they could come out and give me a free estimate. Upon speaking to the owner, he came out 2 days later to price it. We contacted three other contractors in the area and only two of them showed. Within 72 hours, we had three quotes that were very close in price...only $400 difference between the 3 of them.

We chose The Eavestrough Co. for the simple fact that, although their pricing was "almost" the best, they handle the job themselves and do not subcontract it out. The reviews previously written also gave us a comfortable feeling and assurance that we were going to get our project completed by nothing other than professionals that know what they are doing.

On top of that, because of the time of year (February) and the simplicity of my project, plus the fact that our winter has been warmer than usual, they were able to schedule my project in less than two weeks from giving them the "go ahead".

They sent two full crews to get the job done in one day...and they accomplished just that. The replacement facia, eaves and downspouts look great. The crews were very professional, polite and informative. For the amount of scrap aluminum laying around during the process, they did a spectacular job gathering up all the garbage and waste. The property looked great! A job well done!!

After seeing the number of positive reviews on Homestars, I contacted the Eavestrough Company to install gutter protection on our eavestroughs.

We have a large maple tree in our front yard that has not only a lot of leaves, but also maple "keys" that regularly clog up the eaves. Sometimes it's been so badly plugged that water overflows to our foundation (good thing we have a sump pump as otherwise we'd have a flooded basement!).

This company is honest and very responsive. An estimate was provided within a day of my original contact and the work was scheduled promptly. All gutters were cleared of dirt and debris and they didn't leave any garbage behind.

Highly recommended.

Wendell and his entire team were excellent. We (the board members) living in a town home complex chose this company to replace eavestrough and downspouts for 16 homes. We chose this company based on reviews, a referral and competitive pricing. Wendell went over the site, discussed materials, and gave constructive suggestions. I can’t say enough good things about this company and their quality of work. The team arrived on time, worked diligently, and completed the work within the time frame, along with cleaning the work site thoroughly. We contacted the company with our order & within days the job was completed to our great pleasure. It was a tricky job on our steel roof that also needed a snow guard installed. The timing was critical since the painters were coming the next week and this job needed to be done in advance of that. The personnel worked outside of business hours so as not to interrupt our schedule and made important recommendations about how the best complete the job.

My husband and I live in a subdivision that is quite new. Our house is only 6 years old. The eavestroughs began having issues after 3 years. The builder came back to repair several times but after 5 years, our warranty expired. Now we were left with the problem. We tried several companies but no one wanted to come to Niaraga on the Lake to look at them. In desperation, we contacted The Eavestrough Company and the lady on the phone was so polite and helpful. Faye arranged for Wendell to come out and look at them. His assessment was that the brackets had been installed far too far apart, a poor caulking used and the caulking done improperly. He also informed us that our downspouts were in the wrong place for drainage. We decided to hire The Eavestrough Company and take off our not very old eavestroughs and have it done right. The crew came out for the install and did a spectacular job. We watched them work and observed how far apart the brackets were spaced. Dusko also showed us how he caulks the corners. Tremendous! In the end, it was money we should not have to put out after only 6 years but we are happy it is now done right. Thumbs down to whoever our builder had do our eavestroughs! Two thumbs up to The Eavestrough Company for the job they did!
