Richard is a consummate professional who takes pride in his work, is honest, true to his word, respectful, and very fairly priced. Our home is a1920’s semi that has seen a number of changes over the years. The area where the moulding was installed had numerous issues which several other companies said they couldn’t/wouldn’t do. Richard’s attitude was “I love a challenge.” He called 2 days prior to the install date to confirm everything, and also called on the morning of the install to say he might be a few minutes late due to heavy traffic. When he arrived he offered 2 ideas to address one particularly odd area. He had been thinking about it since our first meeting – weeks earlier. Although it’s hard to see, the area shown has a beam running along the ceiling and the ceilings on either side of the beam are different heights. Additionally this beam is very close (but not attached to) a wall post. As you can see from the picture – Richard did an amazing job. It turned out better than we had hoped. We couldn’t be happier with Richard’s work and will definitely have him back as we renovate the remainder or our home. We highly recommend Richard.

My husband and I have nothing negative but only good compliments to give to Richard for the crown mouldings that he did to our first floor. He is reliable, responsible and professional. The price he gave us for installing crown mouldings throughout the first floor (hallway, living room, dining room, kitchen and powder room) is very reasonable. He promised to come to work on a Saturday morning at 7:00am and at 6:50am, he was already there outside our house. He worked with another contractor whose name is Paul and both of them did an excellent job. They made all the cuts on the driveway (even we offered to let them use the garage due to the cold weather). They took good care of the cabinets and made sure to keep our home clean. Both Richard and Paul work amazingly and quickly, by 12:30, all the mouldings were installed perfectly and seamlessly (no visible nail holes). We are extremely satisfied and for sure will have him back to do the 2nd floor. Definitely will recommend Richard to friends and relatives!

I'm not sure I can enough nice things about Richard. My husband and I signed on to do some mouldings in three rooms. We agreed to a price - and then Richard called us and said he actually got the price cheaper than expected and decreased our quote. On the day of installation, it was snow/raining and the roads were terrible, and he had told us he'd arrive at 7am to begin work. Well, it was 7:08 and he called to let us know he'd be late (which, due to the weather, was more than expected). We had other contractors doing work that day and they arrived over two hours late - no phone call. It was just so refreshing to have such a nice exchange with a considerate person. We've already planned all the things we'd like to contract him for in the spring! Thanks Richard! You made our house look beautiful!

I called a couple of companies to give me a quote, this company was not the least expensive but not the most expensive either. They were very business like and professional, provided excellent workmanship,came on time, finished on time and on budget. The clean up was complete and the job was so well done it looked great with only the primer coat of paint ... I did the finishing coat of paint. I would highly recommend this company.

We wanted moulding on our first floor. Richard came over within 2 days of enquiring, gave us a great quote & was back in a week installing. Richard worked by himself & did an amazing job! All cuts were made in the driveway, he took great care bringing in the moulding not to scratch the walls or furniture. He had drop cloths to keep our home clean throughout his work. He installed moulding in our living room, kitchen, hallway & powder room, no visible seams & no visible nail holes! Excellent work, extremely satisfied & we will have him back to do our upstairs hallway & bedrooms.

Richard did an excellent job and was great to deal with. He called and arrived when he said he would and consulted us along the way. I know he wanted us to be happy with the results and not push for what would be the easiest or fastest way. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend or contract him again.

Richard is fantastic to work with and is excellent at his craft! We have had him in for two separate jobs now - the first was a kitchen and main floor reno which Richard did all new trim and even fixed the crown above the new cabinets that had not been installed correctly by the cabinet installer - at no additional cost. The most recent job was a smaller bedroom in which he did the crown molding. With both jobs, the craftsmanship was superb. Richard is always on time and ensures the work is as perfect as possible. We wouldn't consider using anyone else.
