Our experience with Chinook Landscaping and Design Inc was wonderful. The initial consultation was timely, and David (Owner) gave us many options with no pressure to do more than we needed or wanted to. David's teams were efficient and very friendly. Everyone seemed happy to be doing their jobs and made sure we were happy with the progress. Any questions or concerns we had were answered and dealt with immediately. I would like to recommend Chinook to anyone who needs landscaping work done. We had inherited some nasty cement work when we bought our house and there was a drainage problem close to the garage. Chinook went above and beyond the call of duty to ensure my satisfaction of their landscaping work. The team that did my landscaping was respectful, hardworking and completed the project exactly how and when they said it would be done, and then they did more.

When using other contractors in the past, it has never been my experience to have work completed better than what was stated on the quote, however, this has been my experience with Chinook. We have a side gate that was never straight and didn't close properly. When they laid the paving stones, the installer noticed it and then took the time to fix my gate and level it, so that it would be straight and close properly. Not only did he fix it, and make it straight, now it aligns with the paving stones. This gave a much more professional finish. They also noticed that we needed some stones at the side of the house and while that was not on the quote, they added this nice bonus to finish the side area of my house. The installers also laid new sod and leveled it for better drainage. This went way beyond my expectation and we are thrilled with the results. This company could have left me with my existing fence/gate problems and ugly area at the side because I did not contract them to fix and beautify the side of my house, but they did fix it. I was amazed and asked the installer why he did it and he said, "Because it wasn't right and this would finish it off nicer". Please note that I agreed to pay a set amount for the job and this company is not being paid by the hour. I got a sense that James and Aarron took pride in their work and wanted me to be totally satisfied.

All matters by Chinook were handled professionally. Ethics to me means that someone does the right thing when it would be easier to look the other way. In my interactions with Chinook, they definitely did the right thing. We have another project in the near future and they will be the only company I call to do my job.

I had a lot of quotes for the job. David was by far the most professional and quick to respond. He was able to work within our budget and time frame. The finished job is awesome! Crew was great and small problems we're take care of in a timely manner. Thank you, loving our new space!

If you want to hire the best landscaper in Calgary then hire David and his people! First off David is very professional from beginning to end of the project. The crews that worked on my backyard conducted themselves as professionals and were very friendly. Now lets get to the quality of work…Unbelievable work was done to our backyard!! Come by Cranston and walk the ridge, it won't be tough to see which yard is mine. The time that was put into every detail of the job was well thought out. There was no cutting corners or trying to rush the job. Sometimes the guys would work until 9:30 at night. At the end there were a couple minor things to be delt with. NO PROBLEM call David and the boys were here the next day to fix it. David thank you very much for finally a great experience contracting someone who over delivers!! Jim & Yana

We are more than pleased with the work that Chinook Landscaping completed for us. When I met David to discuss the project, I knew I liked him and his business. He was so personable, helpful, reasonable, and accommodating. He listened well to what we were thinking and then added his expertise. His employees were consistently punctual and hard working. Often, they worked through rain and cold and stayed late to finish the day's work. Like David, they were accommodating, friendly, and professional. Our property, sidewalk, and street areas were always kept tidy. When the job was finished, everything was left cleaner than before. Several of our neighbours remarked about how well they cleaned up.
