We are extremely satisfied and very impressed with the job done by Chinook. There was great rapport with David, the owner, as well as with members of the hard working diligent crew. The outsourced sub contractors (irrigation and arborists) also performed very well under Chinook's supervision. Changes were handled with ease and the suggestions from David and the crew also worked out great. Their experience, reliability and openness ensured the job got done to a degree that surpassed our expectations. It was an expensive job, but not beyond what we were quoted, and it just proves that you get what you pay for! (Just lose the Property Brothers on the ad LOL!!)

David and his crew were a huge help in both re-designing and installing our new backyard. The experience that David brings to the design phase was invaluable. He pointed out flaws in the design we were contemplating, that would have led to issues down the road. Collaborating with us, we came up with a design that we are very happy with.

His crew was very careful as they worked around existing plants and coordinated with us on exact locations for the new trees and shrubs.

All in all a very good experience.

David was a pleasure to deal with, very patient and provided excellent advice and guidance as we worked through the design and timing of what we wanted. After building our home in Riverstone, we found Chinook Landscaping after some research and met with David to discuss our needs, budget etc. David is a very honest, practical professional who was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. After determining the plan, David's team arrived in short order to begin the work. Again, the entire team was friendly, helpful and prompt. They showed up on time, did what they said they were going to do, and cleaned up and the end of each work day. They worked with us when small changes needed to be made and always did so with a smile. The job was completed within time and budget expectations. Even now, if I have a question that I feel I need to bounce off David, he doesn't hesitate to call me back and provide those answers. We were very happy with the end result and gladly recommend David and his team!!

From start to finish Chinook did an excellent job. The supply chain constraints imposed by Covid were overcome by excellent project management. All materials were pre-positioned so that when work started it proceeded without any interruption. The crew were well prepared and throughout the project exhibited consistent focus on both the quality of the work and efficiency of execution. Any issues discovered during the course of work were immediately presented with well thought out solutions.
We have done 4 major landscape projects in Calgary over the last 20 years and, while previous landscapers performed competently, Chinook was clearly superior in planning, quality of work, and efficiency.

We were thrilled with the service provided from the initial meeting to completion of the project. They were ahead of schedule, very respectful and accommodated changes we desired as work was underway.

We have hired Chinook Landscaping 3 times since 2015. This past Summer, we had a deck and arbour built as well as a new fence. They also fixed our drainage problem and install mowing pavers and decorative rocks. As usual, the work was done in a very professional manner and also on time even though it was sometimes difficult to get the supplies. last Summer was extremely busy for everyone. We are very happy with their work and highly recommend.

Needed repairs of sidewalk and steps that had sunk, heaved and shifted and a small retaining wall built. Estimate and the work completed in a timely fashion. Dave was very receptive to feedback and took full responsibility for the work and invoice that we were not happy with. The deficiencies were addressed and invoice adjusted accordingly without any hassle. Not often that you get a contractor that sticks to his word!

We hired Chinook Landscaping to plant a row of trees and make a play area for our children in our back yard. The crew was professional and the work was excellent.

I have used Chinook Landscaping and Design for four different project over the last eight years. Everything from installing an irrigation system, to planters and a patio, and new sod. I have always been very happy with the quality of their work and would highly recommend this company.
