Our chimney was tipping that needed repair and pointing around the house. We got quotes from 3 vendors, and Turnbull provided details in the estimate that gave us the confidence that they would deliver to our satisfaction. Ron and his team were very professional throughout the process. They completed the project on schedule. The left the worksite clean and kept our neighbours inform on the project. We are extremely happy with the results and recommend Turnbull to anyone.

Called Turnbull after seeing their trucks on a job and reading the reviews on HS. Ron came the next day and provided a quote to fix many damaged bricks on my walkout and replace a piece of coping on the top the ledged. They also tucked up some misc spots that could create problems in the future.. Great service and good clean-up...would definitely call them again in the future

The terrible winter this year kept flooding the floor of our garage. A combination of heaving of the driveway pad and an improper sloping of the garage floor left water pooled inside the garage and disintegration of the brick wall inside. Ron responded quickly to our request for a quote, and was the only one of the four contractors we spoke with who provided a written quote. Not only that, he spent the time to review the work with us, suggest alternatives and answer all our questions. The Turnbull team worked hard in the chilly weather of April to break out the old floor, lay down a gravel base and rebar, and then pour the floor. I was impressed by the level of skill and dedication to detail shown by the workers. Even though the tear out took a day more than expected, Ron's team got the job done on time and on quote.
We were so impressed with the work, that we also asked Ron to quote us on repointing and replacing brick work on the house. Again, Ron was the only one of the contractors we spoke with who was willing to come out twice to explain the work to both myself and my husband. Other contractors missed problem areas when quoting their work, or gave such a wide ballpark for the quote, that Ron's itemized and detailed quote was a revelation.
The work was done quickly and the cleanup was immaculate. The team did the best they could to remove previous "fixes" by a previous owner, and have made our place more attractive and most importantly water tight!

Turnbull Masonry hit a home run with our new fireplace, seriously knocked it out of the park. I am not an emotional person so imagine my wife's shock when she heard me shout "Wow' when I first saw the completed project. Ron, and his crew, took a simple picture we found on the Internet that we gave them as our vision and they literally brought it off the page and into our living room. The team came when they agreed to come, worked hard and did an excellent job in my furnace room of cleaning out and repairing loose mortar around my stone foundation. They left the stone on one wall exposed, which looks lovely and parged the other walls. They worked hard and everyone was very pleasant to deal with. I am very happy with their work.

We had an old chimney that had been capped off by the previous owners. The mortar and bricks were eroded to the point of allowing water in and damaging the walls inside the house.
Turnbull Masonry responded quickly and they were able to do the job within a few days. They would have tarped the chimney to keep the rain out if their schedule didn't allow them to get to the job before the weather turned.
Ellen took my phonecall, asked me to email the photos I had taken of the chimney, and then told me Clinton would phone within a couple of hours. Clinton did call within two hours and had the solution, tear down the chimney and roof over. The quote was emailed to me the next day.
Clinton and Aaron arrived on time, and set to work, demolishing the chimney, reinforcing the joists, installing plywood, ice shield membrane, and then shingles. After they cleaned up you wouldn't have known they'd been there.
Our leaky chimney is a distant memory, the shingle match is perfect, it's as if the chimney never existed.

I have used Turnbull Masonry twice. I would never consider calling another company. The pricing is competitive but more importantly the work and customer service is second to none. Recently I had a porch rebuilt. In addition to landscaping and carpentry work there was a lot of masonry work. There were delays with my carpenter due to weather and materials being delayed. In order to get the project back on track, the Turnbull Team actually worked ALL EASTER WEEKEND to get the project completed! Not that I asked nor expected but they recognized the time issues and got the work done and as always it was quality work. Much appreciated. Great team.

Turnbull Masonry provided a very fair quote providing the quotation in a timely manner. They were very accommodating with their schedule to meet our timing. They showed up as promised. Provided an accurate estimate of the time to complete the work. Work was done in a professional manner. Ron personal toured the site with me and confirmed everything was to my satisfaction.
