About 60 bricks on our exterior walls were succumbing to the ravages of spalling--deterioration due to water damage/freeze-thawing. Some of these bricks were on corners that may have required the removal of a gate in one case and the porch railing in the other, and this was a matter of some concern for us. The work was done in one day, a day when we were out of town. When we returned, the spalled bricks had been replaced; the work area had been left as clean--if not cleaner--as when we had left that morning, and neither the gate nor the porch railing had to removed to get the work done. Not only would I recommend Turnbull to a friend, and would be be adamant that Turnbull do the masonry work required; to hire any other company would be at best to going with second-best.

They matched up the brick beautifully, and had scaffolding set up to secure an upper balcony that accomodating entrance into the building. They cleaned up the job very nicely. Quick and efficient. Great work.

Foundation wall had all the parging disintegrating and it needed to be removed and replaced.

We hired Turnbull a few years back to replace some bricks in our foundation for us and they did a fantastic job so we knew we wanted to hire them again for this job. They did beautiful work. The pathway and steps are just what we needed and they were a bit complicated to do because they’re in an awkward little corner along our property line. They came within a week of agreeing to do the work and finished in three days. If you want something done right, I would highly recommend Turnbull.

We needed a basement window filled in. Ron went out to the site and inspected the window that needed to be bricked in. The window was filled in a matter of a couple of days and was seamless. Turnbull Masonry Ltd service went above and beyond expectation. Ron & Zubair was always available to answer phone calls & questions. The numerous new bricks & caulking blended well into the two and half story old Victorian facade.
Bypassers & neighbours ( one being architect) admired the brick work, especially the re-build arch. Zubair & assistant Tekle worked diligently & long hours during very hot & humid July weather and still finished the work within the 4 day schedule.
