Contracted with Archiel at Sobol Inc. after he did work at our neighbours. The project started as scheduled, the crew was great, clean and professional, and the work was completed on time and exactly as per the quote. As with many old houses, we discovered some issues, with the foundation under the new door needing some repair, and this was done well at a reasonable extra cost. I would recommend them to anyone.

We hired Archiel to replace our patio door with a better one and we couldn't be happier with the installation and quality of the door. Thanks to everyone at Sobol for a great job.

I was very impressed with the professional service provided by Archie and Kozue from the estimate and through to the final installation. High-quality work and products at a very reasonable price. They also were very considerate in regards to our needs when it came to scheduling.

We had replaced 14 vinyl windows, 1 front door + 1 screen door (incl. tear down walls, new drywall, insulation, electrical, ceramic tile in front foyer) and resetting of patio door (done August 20, 2012-but too busy to write review). Archie, owner (recommended by a friend), was honest (reasonably priced with meticulous detailed quotation) and very professional and worked with us even when some unexpected changes came up. Our existing patio door had to be reset properly (previous contractor had not done a proper job, so the patio door was arching in the middle and the screen door subsequently fell off its track)--so his team worker, Lien, even carefully vacuumed dust constantly during stone cutting to minimize any dust in our kitchen. Excellent workmanship and careful attention to detail-no shortcuts. Always cleaned up everyday, protected our furniture, took off their shoes when going upstairs, punctual & courteous team members. Glad to provide them with Coca Cola (fav drink) & snacks as they worked hard everyday. Definitely would recommend to everyone! Most importantly for us was to do the job right . Just remember to have your ideas ready, book early, otherwise they book up quickly (It's worth to wait for them if you can).

Archie replaced two windows in our house as part of our kitchen renovation, and when we needed to replace a window in the basement, a few months later, we didin't hesitate to call him again.

He provided us with great service and very clean installation, both inside and out. The windows they install are excellent, too.

Sobol did a great job of replacing 6 windows the same size, cutting out for a new window in the front of the house, replacing a door and cutting out a window for a new door. Everything looks great.

We hired Sobol Inc. to replace almost all the windows in our old, 1920's Toronto home. Before we even started, Archie was amazing. He remade our quote probably 5 times to accommodate our budget and always did so on time.

In our home, most windows still had the old sashes in them and the walls are plaster and lathe. This can make for an unfortunate mess, however, Sobol did a fabulous job. They replaced each window, brick to brick in a neat and tidy fashion. They always took their shoes off before coming in the house, the put down sheets in every room and hall, and they kept all their garbage outside in a tidy pile, which they removed on the last day. They didn't even mind all the extra add-on's we asked them to do including a door, and extra window, and make all the trim on the inside of the house match the old fashion style of the home. Archie came and checked on the project a few times, and even came back a few days later to help us with one window that was giving us trouble.

A team of two was at our house for 5 days, and the cost of the project was very reasonable considering the time and all the trim work. If you need to replace windows or doors in your home, I highly recommend Sobol. We have two windows left to do once all our renovations are complete and I will be using Sobol again.

Quality and professionalism were excellent. The workers said they would be at my house in the morning but didn't come at the expected time. I called and they said they were running very late. We re-booked for that evening and they came right on time and did the work without complaint about the late hour. Somewhat inconvenient (I wish they had called me) but I was happy with the efforts to set things right.

We recently had 4 windows installed by Sobol. We are extremely satisfied with the work. The crew was excellent in their installation and clean-up. We plan to have this company back in September to install 4 more windows and 2 doors. By the way, all our neighbours on the street give this company a 10.
