Dryshield Basement Waterproofing

My wife and I recently hired Dryshield to perform waterproofing on our basement. I not usually the type of person to write reviews on a company but I thought they deserved the recognition after the job they did. I was skeptical about hiring a company to perform waterproofing services on my home after the horror stories I heard about other companies from friends and family. Dryshield was professional from start to finish. They accommodated with our schedule, finished the job faster then quoted, courteous to my wife and I, and left without of trace of mess. iIhad 4 quotes in total all seemed very high dollar wise two of the companies where at the top homestars both claimed patented products ? how can a drain pipe be any different and 3 times the cost roll in dryshield very honest work for a fair price they explain they use local products and have no bid american franchise fees to pay im glad to support a honest local canadian company it works my basement is dry well done dryshield

We purchased a new cottage in Minden and saw Dryshield's sign on a lawn on hwy 35. We received 4 quotes to waterproof the 3 sides of our cottage. Dryshield was by far the most professional and although they were not the cheapest, we felt the most comfortable choosing them. Chris and his crew were great and very pleasant to have around. Thank you Dryshield, we definitely recommend you.

Dry Shield was a life saver; and they are honest!! We found water damage (mold on our dry walls and wet carpet) in our basement. We got many quotes--all scaring us about how complicated and expensive the repairs would be (e.g. cracks in the foundation or water coming in from the flooring). There were real possibilities, but not true in our case. Only one company--dry shield, Roy specifically--diagnosed the problem correctly and the repair was not expensive (tie rods in concrete were not fully covered). Unlike the other companies, they were not trying to sell their products, and use an overkill the repair solution. Dry Shield was trying to simply fix the problem in the most efficient and cost-effective way. Roy was amazing!--Knowledgeable, experienced, honest, trustworthy, and responsive. I would definitely be wary of companies that are selling their products and services--without properly identifying the problem. Thank you Dry Shield.

If you don't believe that there are contractors out there who is extremely honest, trustworthy, strives to do the absolute right thing you should think twice because DryShield.ca is out there to prove you wrong. My basement was flooded during July 8, 2013 heavy rains in Toronto due to sewerage backup. As a result of emergency work the walls and floors were all lifted up. I spotted a corner which concerned me. I needed a professional advice. I talked to 2 other contractors which both suggested some work done, one from inside, another from inside. Then I called DryShield.ca. They addressed to my call promptly (I should thank Elvira for that) and Roy came to check the next day. I couldn't believe to my ears as Roy provided his expert opinion about my concerns. I couldn't stop myself from shaking his hand for his genuine and pristine recommendations. We need more people like Roy who treats his customers in the same way he would want to be treated. I thought that such people/companies deserve to be known/used by more consumers. My rating for DryShield.ca is 10 with five stars.

I thought I had a leaky foundation as water was pooling around various spots around the basement. I had a few repair quotes in the $5,000+ range and was worried about the cost. Roy came by and suggested that it may be condensation from my furnace causing the wet spots. I Had the furnace looked at and repaired for a fraction of the cost! Roy was genuine, compassionate and more than willing to help me spending more time with me at appointment than I would have ever expected! Thank you ROY !

Great customer service and excellent to deal with. The owner specifically was excellent and the price was very fair compared to others. I checked around other sites and by far dry shield was the best price! Very happy overall with the service.
