We highly recommend Jeff Babcock and his company, Transformations Landscaping, if you're considering an inspiring and exciting landscape makeover for your yard or even just an improvement of an existing flower bed. We had both done this year, a complete back yard makeover with a dry river bed, including trees and shrubs for a low maintenance garden. We were so pleased with our back yard, that we had Transformations Landscaping come back for the front yard, where we had a low stone wall put around an existing flower bed.

Jeff is a skilled landscaper but he also has an artistic eye to give visual impact to his work. We liked that Jeff is particular about the plants he chooses, looking at the health and suitability, as well as, the shape and size of the plants he chooses. You can tell Jeff really enjoys his work and this shows in the landscapes that he creates.

Just moved into Chilliwack and very fortunate to have found Jeff of Transformations Landscaping. They did a total property design which included taking out some old shrubs, relocating some others, trimming cedars around the property, installing rock around the house along with paving stones and installing a palm tree, among others. It is rare to find a company that is Honest, ethical and professional. They did and do what is best not only from a cost perspective but what is best for the customer and the environment. Very rare commodity these days. Transformations Landscaping will continue to perfrom regular maintenance at our home. Our friends and people just walking by have commented how great our property looks and we have given them Transformations Landscaping contact information and told them to ask for Jeff. Truly a rare find.

This is the 2nd time we've used Jeff. He takes your wants and needs and makes them into something workable and realistic. The landscaping complements our lifestyle and the 60s feel of our home. Jeff explained everything as it went along and came in on budget - there were no surprises. Our backyard is now beautiful and the envy of the neighbourhood. We plan on using Transformations for regular maintenance at both our properties and for future work. We would not hesitate to recommend him and his crew to anyone!

We refered this company to my parents who live in Chilliwack, BC. They were very courteus with them and professional. We really were kind of new at the landscaping process as to what to do and where to start. Jeff was absolutely incredible with his design ideas and custom work and they didnt charge an arm and a leg to do it. Very reasonably priced, thorough and beautifully done. Will be working with Jeff again on our own home next fall.

We purchased our property in July 2009 and no landscaping work at the rear was ever done or initiated on this 3 level terrace property. Our property backs onto a ravine with no neighbors at the back just a walking trail on the mountain near Promontory Road.

This being our retirement home following 35 years of military services, we wanted to have our own Oasis/Japanese Garden with a significant waterfall/pond, large rock retaining walls and countless plants and a slate walkway through ought as this was one of our top priority.

We were referred to Jeff Babcock from Transformation Landscaping by word of mouth who’s incidentally a Certified Landscape Horticulturist by trade presented us with a detailed scope and plan. The estimated costs came within the assign and desired budget. The project from conception to completion took approximately one month (June) as we wanted to have fully completed as we were planning a small family wedding by the main waterfall feature in July. In fact our younger daughter also wants to be married by the waterfall/pond in 2012.

The professionalism exercised and hard work by Jeff and his crew throughout was beyond our expectations and as a results we have hosted several evenings and our guests marveled at this view and tranquility/atmosphere the surrounding provides.

We’ve noticed our landscaping project found itself in Jeff’s pamphlets and marketing video of his countless projects. We have since have arranged a service maintenance agreement with Transformation for the landscaping upkeep on a yearly basic (spring and fall).

We bought our Chilliwack property in 2010. At the time of purchase, the house was lovely, but the landscaping left much to be desired. The front of the house was planted with very large bushes and trees that dominated our small lot. In the back, nothing had beed done except the planting of grass. Clover grew readily and the lot hadn't been levelled.

Jeff created a front yard space that improved the "curb appeal" of our home. In the back, he created a variety of spaces that we could use in different ways. We have a hot tub and outdoor seating area, a "view" spot of the Vedder River for a quiet conversation, and a low maintenance "westcoast" garden. The basalt wall along the back and the split rail fence create a warm atmosphere in the yard. Our sunken hot tub is surrounded by the same basalt rock and topped with a cedar ledge for easy access. The plants in our yard are interesting and unusual. We now have "colour" in all seasons!

Our back yard was kind of boring and not very interesting. We knew we wanted something different and more exciting. This is where Jeff Babcock came in. He showed us some of his ideas which helped us make all the right choices. This enabled us to come up with a plan that captured most of the elements we were looking for without going over budget.

Our '70's BC box was less than inspiring to come home to, and our attempts to re-landscape fell short of the mark. Finding Transformations Landscaping through the Chamber of Commerce in Chilliwack put us on a fun and exciting path. Jeff's professional and friendly approach made everything from working on plans, choosing plants, and seeing the installation happen a total pleasure. Our yard is unbelievably beautiful now; it looks like something out of a home and garden magazine, and we have received compliments from every single neighbour on the block.

I am in love with every plant in my yard, the lay out, and the attention to detail and layout of every section. I even love the boulder that Jeff chose for us, and had placed in our yard. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Transformations to any of our friends, family, or people reading reviews on this site. We are going to start planning our back yard with their team this fall, and can't wait to see the results there as well!

Jeff "transformed" our somewhat embarrassing, chopped up, limited use recreational property into a totally relaxing, no maintenance retreat. We found Jeff to be very honest and easy to work with. His ideas were great and he was able to incorporate what we wanted into the master plan. Products used were very good quality and he kept very close to timelines given. Very good follow-up service. Jeff also connected us with qualified subcontractors. Our property is now the envy of the neighbours and it is exactly what we wanted.
