Aloplast Duke Windows & Doors Inc No Longer In Business

We had some windows on our main floor replaced along with a sliding patio door. Everything was installed on schedule and with care. We are very happy with the quality of workmanship and the installation. I would gladly recommend Aloplast.

We used this company to replaced 3 bedroom windows and a front door. We were satisfed. There was an error in the way they installed front door - it was opposite the way we wanted. They corrected the problem without an issue.

Then we used a 2nd time for 1 window pane that had cracked of our huge front window. It took several calls and a few missed appointments before they came to install this glass. I wasn't impressed. The glass was fine, but ut seemed like it was an "after thought" kind of job. It was only a $800-900 job. They seemed more reliable when the job was worth more money.

The windows were great. They were installed properly. the workers were polite and hard working. They were well insulated. They cleaned up all the garbage and dust after the work was complete.

My only complaint was when using them the 2nd time, they were not as reliable or timely as one would expect

Hello, I am writing this review on behalf of my parents who purchased windows from Aloplast. My dads name is Barry and he was extremely happy with the service that was provided to our home in Thornhill, ON. He was impressed with the service from the telemarketers to the sales agent to the installers. Work was professional, timely, clean and high quality. Highly recommended.

the worst contract I ever had!
I have spent more than $500 to fix their mess and still not satisfied with the $6000 entrance door ! I was waitting till today to see their respond after 5 months and nothing!

I wanted to purchase a screen door. I tried to cancel the door the next day but they refused to give me my deposit back. Finally agreed to a door so that I would not loose my money completely. It took them 6 months to delivery the door and they installed the door on February 1 so that I was not eligable for a tax rebate (the program ended March 31.)

I recently signed a contract with Aloplast Duke Windows & Doors(Aug. 9, 2010). After I signed I decided to do some more research to make sure I did the right thing. I came to this website and saw the post by Suzan. My contract as well did not say that the windows were energy star rated. I called the company and spoke with a man named Adam. He invited me to come to the factory to see the windows and the certifications. I'm happy that I did. I wanted to take advantage of the government rebate before it ends. The windows were installed about 3 weeks later and the work was fantastic. All the certification stickers came on the windows so that I knew that they were. The price was a little high but I'm happy with the way it all turned out in the end.
