When our washing machine started having troubles, I called Action Appliance based on the reviews I saw on HomeStars, and they were all on the money. Glen came out quickly, and was every bit as friendly, helpful, and professional as I had read. He diagnosed the problem quickly, and got things back up and running right away. He even gave some quick tips on other issues I'd been having - I will definitely call him again.

Glen from Action Appliance came by this week to service our dryer. Not only was he thorough, he came during the time frame he provided and the service was reasonably priced. Glen is also a very friendly and professional person. I highly recommend Action Appliance.

I found Glen through the internet and after reading other reviews on this site and his website, I decided to call him to service a washer and dryer that we had inherited when we purchased a rental unit.
First of all, his website tells you everything you need to know about his training, his business and his rates.
When he called to set up the appointment, he gave us a time and told us he would call before he came. He was very professional, was on time, was respectful of our tenants' premises, had parts needed for the repair to our dryer in his truck and assessed the washer and explained that both washer and dryer were in good working order.
We were able to pay right away with Visa and Glen e mailed our invoice to us.

We heard a clicking noise from our fridge and looked up who to call on Home Stars. Glen received great ratings from everyone, so we felt he was a great choice...and everything the reviews said was right on. He was courteous and friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He also noticed our dishwasher and said he thought it might be on recall which it was and he took also took care of it while he was here. Glenn was very professional. He was able to come to our home within two days. He diagnosed the problem with our dryer and showed us the part that had burnt out. He double-checked his work to be certain the dryer worked at all settings, not just on high. When I moved into my home last year I inherited the appliances. Last week, my clothes washer had stopped draining and the water in the washer really stunk! Not only did Glen quickly diagnosis and discover the problem but he educated me on the proper type of detergent to use in order not to shorten the life span of the washer. He was able to sell me some "Affresh" (a new product for me) which cleared up the odour in the washer.
My dishwasher has never cleaned the dishes properly since the day I moved in. I had called a couple of other places who told me they don't repair GE dishwashers and wanted to sell me a new dishwasher. Again, Glen made excellent suggestions to me on the proper placement of the dishes in order to maximize the cleaning ability of the dishwasher. He took it apart and cleaned the various parts and replaced the wheels. He also suggested some new dishwasher detergent.
His knowledge of these machines and their parts was impressive! He sure knows his stuff!

Glen answered my call on the first ring, and managed to fit me in the same day, two days before leaving for holiday. He correctly suspected the problem with my Kenmore washing machine and had the replacement part on hand. The repair was accomplished quickly and professionally, and he explained the problem to me. I also like that he provides a clear, detailed invoice which is sent by e-mail. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone in this area seeking appliance service or repair and will definitely call him the next time I have such a problem--though I hope the need doesn't arise!

He was knowledgeable, meticulous and doesn't try to gauge you for your money. He installed our dishwasher and made sure that it was also leveled, so that it would be esthetically pleasing and run properly. We thought that our 18 year old dryer was done, and he fixed it with a simple 32$ part.
