Chermark Renovations

We just bought a new house and needed a couple of alterations carried out. We needed some built in closets removed and a new one built. We also needed a room divided into two with doors installed. We had a tight timeframe both for getting a quote and for the work to be carried out. Mark fitted in with our timeframes and carried out an absolutely fantastic job. The new closet (for which I gave very little direction at all) was built to a very high standard and in the exact style of the house. I would never have thought to specify the sort of work that was completed. There were lots of other little things like Mark going out of his way to source some flooring to repair missing pieces after removing the closets. Again, not something that I strictly specifed but Mark's professionalism in carrying out a complete job was amazing. I cannot recommend Chermark Renovations highly enough. It is a real lottery contacting a builder you have had no experience of but I hit jackpot here and would not think twice about using Mark and his team again.

We are so happy with the results of the reno. The basement was completly unfinished when we purchased the home and it was great to work with Mark in planning out the layout. He gave us some very helpful advise and made recommendations along the way which really made a difference in the finished result. The end result is beautiful and we feel very proud to show freinds the new space. The home originally had the old popcorn ceilings which really dated the overall appearance. He suggested installing a resilent channel and instlling new drywall to cover the textured ceiling. This procedure spared us hours of scapping off the textured ceiling and the finished result with the crown molding is awesome. It completly updated the space. The previous owner dropped by and she could not believe the difference that the renos made. We would highly recommend Mark to anyone looking for a quality reno. He really takes pride in his work and wants to make sure that you as the customer are pleased. We definetly are.

Mark of Chermark Renovations was very accomodating and friendly. His work was very neat and professional . Although never wasting a step, he did not appear rushed. We had the bathroom floor replaced with new porceline tile, plumbing fixed and new counter tops in two bathrooms.

We would not hesitate to recommend Chermark Renovations. Mark tackled a very complicated backsplash in our kitchen. The finger glass tiles that can easily break and require many difficult cuts. I'm pleased to say the finished product is amazing! Mark is quick, he worked within the time frame promised. The job is professional and I am proud to show off our beautiful kitchen to friends and family. We look forward to hiring Mark for our laundry room renovation in the near future.

Chermark has done previous work for for us including kitchen bathrooms crown molding to drywall to detailed tile work , he has also done a very professioal job on are back yard fence, he also prepared our cement slab for our hot tub,recently he has built for us a deck for around our above ground pool all his work has been very professional we would never hire anyone else

We had work done by Chermark Renovations, the latest two being our garage and family room. A door was installed from the garage to the house. In the basement (family room) we had the carpeting removed and hardwood flooring installed. All work was completed as per agreement and in a professional way. Mr. Wilson was pleasant and always positive which encouraged us when was had unforeseen ``road bumps`` along the way. We were extremely pleased and have not hesitated to recommend the company to our family members.

We hired Mark Wilson to act as general contractor for our garage addition.From the very start we felt comfortable and confident in Mark. He started the work sooner than promised and things really took off. He is very well organized so there was no down time waiting for excavation, forming, concrete etc. Everything just fell into place. Mark made some very good suggestions regarding our addition, things that we had never thought of but worked in our best interest. Mark was always accessable, returning phone calls and emails promptly and he addressed every concern or suggestion we had. He finished this job on time and on budget.
Overall we are very pleased with the work Mark did for us. We are very happy with the completed project and with all the hard work and time spent that Mark provided for us. We would hire Mark again for any further renovations we may have and we would recommend him to others.

We needed a complete kitchen renovation, basically re-doing the kitchen from the ground up. Mark at Chermark Renovations was fantastic through the whole process from providing a quote right to the finished product (which is beautiful). He was always in communication, answered all of my(many)questions, and was up front and truthful about timelines and how the work was progressing. Mark went above and beyond the job, helping us out with minor roof emergencies, once on a weekend. The kitchen turned out stunningly and just how we wanted. In short, the entire process with Chermark was as painless as a kitchen renovation can be and the end result is wonderful.

Mark came to quote this bathroom reno and was prompt and courtious.The reno was started and finished on schedule. The reno in its early stages was inspected by us step by step as Mark led us through the process from start to finish.Mark installed a new shower approx 60" 36" complete with ceramic tiles,shower light, and glass doors with complimenting hardware. This reno project was excellent so i asked Mark to install a new toilet and shut off taps in the vanity.We would have Mark back for any future renovations without hesitation.
