Vlad's Custom Carpentry

Wow. That's really all I can say. Not only was Vlad professional and responsive before the project, he did an incredible job on the build. Our new kitchen nook built in looks like it was born there. We could not possibly be happier.

Based on our friend feedback we have contacted Vlad to do a built-ins unit around TV with display cabinet in the living room and complete the crowm moulding for the living and dining room. He did a great job in terms of design and applied the details as discussed. He was honest about the time he could start and finish the job. His attention to detail was amazing. He cared about the quality of his work. He was a pleasure to deal with and We highly recommend him.

We had Vlad install wainscoting and trim for our doors and windows in our dining room. He is a gifted trim carpenter that is a pleasure to work with. He is honest, professional and skilled beyond words. We have owned number of homes that we have renovated and are quite experienced with trades guys. Based on reviews we read on Homestars, we contacted Vlad to do built-ins around a TV and radiator covers in the living room of our older home. During his initial visit, he listened to what we wanted and had lots of great ideas. He provided a very reasonable quote for the work so we went ahead. He was honest about when he could do the work (3 weeks after the initial visit) and the install began when he said it would. Vlad installed our unit over 2 days and we are thrilled with the quality of his work and attention to detail. The radiator covers are incredible and we've asked him to complete 4 more for our main floor. He left the area clean when he was finished and was very respectful of our home. My husband and I highly recommend him and can't believe the difference it has made to our living space.

We hired Vlad for baseboard, window and door trim, door hanging, shelving, stairs renovation and various other bits and pieces. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Vlad. We first chose Vlad due to his high reviews here at HomeStars, to modify a brand-new kitchen cabinet into accepting a dishwasher.
Vlad is very punctual, polite and curteous and an excellent handyman. The job was done in a few days and it was done perfectly.
One section cabinet had to be removed and another one to be built instead, with a gap for a dishwasher and shelves on the side.
The new job blends in and wood colour matches perfectly and one cannot tell that it was done at a different time than the rest of the kitchen.
We are very pleased with the work done by Vlad and we would recommend him anytime.

Vlad was courteous, understanding and patient. He understood the difficulties and intricacies of older homes and was able to provide an estimate and complete the job very quickly (within 1 week!). The quality of Alex's work is excellent. It was clear they take pride in their work.

I am so happy that Vlad was able to do this job for me, he removed the non professional crown moulding I had currently in my kitchen and replaced it, also repaired a visual area beneath one of my countertops, his craftsmanship and skill produced an excellent job all done in one day!
