P&P did a full renovation of our basement. This included a new bathroom with tiled shower, glass shower doors, exhaust fan, vanity and floor tile. The remainder of the basement included the partial removal of a load bearing wall and insertion of a support beam in order to open up more living space, which was a key requirement for us. They replaced the existing drop down ceiling with drywall and potlights, and in the process also replaced the electrical panel in order to handle the increased power demand. In addition, they replaced all doors and trim, built a new closet, built a new stair railing, painted all walls, ceilings and doors, and installed new carpet throughout. Prior to the project, P&P provided a full detailed schedule of the work they were performing, with milestones for each week. They showed up for work EVERY day on time, worked through the entire day, and were able to meet all of their projected target dates. Their crew were friendly, courteous and professional, and offered many good suggestions during the reno, such as re-routing duct work in order to minimize bulkheads, re-locating water shutoff valves to a more convenient location, adding specialized potlights over the vanity due to space constraints, etc. I am amazed at the amount of work they were able to accomplish in just over 4 weeks! We now have a basement that we are very proud of, and could not be happier with their work. We will definitely consider P&P again for any future renovations!

P&P did a major reno of my entire home just over a year ago. I asked them to return recently to do a backsplash in my kitchen. As with everything they do: beautiful work with an eye to detail, dedicated to getting things as you want them, on time, polite, clean, and go the extra mile.
It also bears mentioning that P&P has been there for me when I've had questions or small issues related to my major reno. They are responsive, happy to answer questions and eager to resolve those inevitable small issues that arise. I continue to be impressed and definitely HIGHLY recommend them.

In the Spring of 2016, we bought an older bungalow and decided to renovate the entire house (all new electrical, plumbing, walls, floors, kitchen, bathroom, insulation, etc) and used HomeStars to find a suitable general contractor. After interviewing a number of qualified companies, we chose P&P Renovations. The owner of this company, Natanael, came out to meet us and we discussed the scope of the work. Natanael's wide breadth of knowledge and helpful suggestions convinced us to use P&P Renovations for the entire project. In less than a week we received a detailed proposal outlining the major work packages along with the costs and timeline required to execute the project.
The project was to take 11-12 weeks, and was completed on time and on budget. There were some changes/additions along the way that were discussed and appropriately costed out. There were absolutely no surprises in terms of unexpected costs or slipping timelines. Our crew (Mauricio and Luis with help from Felix, Antonio and Javier) were very professional and hard working with strong attention to quality and workmanship. They were absolutely a pleasure to work with and extremely hard working and dedicated. Natanael was also present for critical work (i.e. restructure of interior walls, new plumbing, new electrical, etc.) along the way. He also provided many helpful suggestions throughout the project (i.e. kitchen, bathroom, flooring, electrical, proper insulation, windows, new staircase, etc.) which kept the project on time and brought the renovation together.
Scope of the work included: complete demolition of the main floor of the house, basement, new plumbing, new electrical, new insulation in the attic and walls, new kitchen, bathrooms, laundry room and all flooring. Basically the entire house. The work also included removing some walls to create an 'open concept' style along with a new larger stair case to the basement.
As expected, with this large of a renovation, there were some issues to deal with, which were all handled in a timely and professional manner.
Natanael and his team were great to work with which made for a stress free renovation that basically gave us a brand new house that looks absolutely amazing. The build quality is second to none and we have received many compliments along the way. We could not be happier with results and strongly recommend Natanael and his team. P and P recently completed the renovation of my kitchen on March 23, 2017. The quality of the work and the attention to detail were obvious in the finished project. Natanael completed the plan for the cabinets and gave me suggestions for changes to keep down the cost. Mauricio who did most of the work worked hard to satisfy my needs. His work reflected his skill as a master carpenter and the pride he takes in his work. The paintings by Antonio and electrical work by Manuel were also very competently completed. I am very satisfied with the finished work. I have no hesitation in recommending this company.

This was our second big job with P&P, headed up by Rafael. They gutted the bathroom and removed a staircase to create some additional space. We couldn't be happier with the work: on-time, on-budget, and absolutely beautiful! Rafael and crew are true professionals and they really cares about the quality of work. Fortunate for us, a job fell through at the end of our renovation, and Rafael was able to re-do our front porch. Again, he outdid himself. In the fall of 2015 we decided to renovate the ground floor of our old bungalow and turned to HomeStars to find a contractor. The owner of this company, Natanael, came out to meet us and as we walked through the house discussing what we had in mind we were immediately impressed by his knowledge and experience as he made suggestions. Within a week we had a detailed quote listing exactly what his company would do and would not do, including what we were responsible for providing. In addition to the HomeStars reviews, he provided us with a list of references and we called several of them. There was a common theme - he sticks to his schedule and he sticks to his budget. This sealed the deal for us.

The project was to take 11-12 weeks, and ended up taking a few weeks longer because we had them do additional work (e.g. insulating the walls). Work began the first week in January 2016. There were no surprises in terms of unexpected costs - any additional work we asked for whose costs couldn't be absorbed was discussed and agreed to ahead of time.

Scope of the work included: new hardwood floors throughout; two new bathrooms (powder room, ensuite); new kitchen; raised, coffered ceilings in living room and dining room; three skylights; reframing and spray foam insulation in most outer walls; new insulation in the attic. The work included moving some walls.

In a renovation of this size there are bound to be glitches and there were a few, but generally speaking they were dealt with professionally.

Natanael and his gang were great to deal with through what is invariably a stressful process. Natanael is an honest guy who really wants to make his clients happy. In the months since the reno was completed, we have had a few issues and they were quickly resolved.

The end result is impressive - our friends are in awe.

We would not hesitate to hire Natanael again, or to recommend him to friends.

Had hardwood floors installed in my home in early Nov 16. Very satisfying experience from initial meeting to completion of the job. The entire team was professional, clean and very respectful of my home and contents. My biggest fear was damage to my newly painted walls, but I was pleasantly surprised as my home was in pristine shape when they left. It was obviously vacuumed every evening before they left (even my garage and driveway). Thx Nathanael, Javier and team.

We used this company for a huge basement renovation in the past so asked them back to do some 'touch up' work for us. This included removing all plumbing and hardware in the powder room and removal of wall paper and replacement with new hardware. They do not do wall paper so we had to get someone else to re-paper the room. They also installed a light for us in the basement and re-did a bedroom including removal of carpet and replacement with hardwood floor, re-painting, new closet doors and baseboards.

We were generally pleased with the results of all their work. As usual, they are very professional and punctual.
