A&A Masonry

I am very grateful once again to A&A Masonry for the excellent job they did for me. Greg came out and saw the work that I needed to have done and then Thomas came to carry out all the many sites that needed repair and did a most excellent job. He explained to me exactly what had to be done, matched the work to be done, and took me around showing me what was repaired. Now everything has dried and disappeared and looks the same as the surrounding areas. I am so very pleased. Another job very well done. Thank you Thomas.

A&A Masonry and their lead contractor, Tani, are amazing. The time spent on my job was efficient and thorough. Both of my A&A contacts, Maryanna and Tani, are professional and went above and beyond to keep me updated on the job progress, and make sure that I was happy along the way. I would absolutely recommend them.

When my 20 yr old home was in need of exterior repairs I called A&A based on all the positive reviews and I'm glad I did. A&A sent William, Alex and Renee to repair the crumbling brick on either end of two door sills and bottom portion where the steps end. During that repair each time I checked to see how things were going all I saw was a large cloud of white dust as they made their cuts through the sections of brick for replacement with block. Every square inch of the yard was covered from the cuts that were made but not a trace was left at the end of the day because the crew cleaned up so well. Parging and Tuck pointing were also really well done. William, Alex and Renee were fantastic to deal with and their work is commendable. They're seasoned pros who know how to get the job done and they do it well. As mentioned in all previous reviews they also clean up really well at the end of each day.

We live in an old house which needed some tuckpointing. A&A provided a thorough and honest estimate. They indicated some work would not be done for the safety of the masons, which was fine with me. The masons, Jon and Mike were so meticulous, taking the time to match the colour of the replacement bricks to the old brick, as well as matching the colour of the mortar (which was different on each side of the house). They were great to deal with as well, as they were so well informed about masonry. I learned a lot from them too.

They took a lifelong dream project and made it a reality. The care, craftsmanship and artistry displayed by Jose, Kevin, Jonathon and Ulises was amazing. The project came in under the revised estimate and I cant recommend A&A Masonry enough.

I was very impressed with the A&A Masonry team throughout the whole project. From the beginning, Nigel was very kind and patient walking me through my options and sourcing what was needed to get the job started. The A &A crew was fantastic from Neil to the whole crew. They were on time and knew what they were doing in terms of safety and disposal.
It seemed at first they would have to use different bricks as our bricks are not made anymore ,but the mason was able to clean up the originals put a proper cap on and seal everything to make it watertight.
They even showed me before and after pictures of the chimney.

I am so glad I went with A&A Masonry. From the beginning of the process to the end, their communication, site visits, planning, and execution were all a 10/10.

It started with Greg and Haizel, who were responsive, helpful, and never tried to upsell me on a service I didn't need. Greg even made multiple site visits to my home. We had a complicated issue with step cracking alone multiple walls due to a poor walkup basement installation from the previous owner, and Greg was able to immediately identify the cause of the issue. When we needed an engineer to take a look, I couldn't find a single on that was available. Greg recommended Wesley, who was great and came quickly to do an official assessment. Once we had the scope of the work, A&A communicated their timeline very efficiently.

When it came to the work itself, Jonathan and Michael were incredible. Jonathan called me the day before, explained the process, and even though it was a 3-day job, he called me at the end of each day to describe the work he did, what else he found, and how he resolved it. Without going into details, he went above and beyond each time to resolve the issue. My biggest worry was that his tuckpointing would make the mortar look different than the rest of the house. I don't know how Jonathan did it, but it looks seamless and you can barely tell any work was done. On top of that, in several locations, he even installed supports inside the brickwork to make sure future cracks don't occur.

Overall, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend A&A for future masonry work, or even major projects. Their pricing was competitive, fair, and their crews are very experienced so you don't need to worry about the quality of their work. A&A is the only company I would ever have do future masonry jobs, or even bigger ones like interlocking and landscaping. They are that pleasing to work with.

Eduardo & team did an amazing job for us & their cleanup was impeccable. Would highly recommend A & A Masonry & we will certainly hire them again in the future.
