A&A Masonry

A & A Masonry was amazing to work with. Their sales person Connor was great and informative. He answered all the questions I had. In addition Tera did excellent work on the parging and stair relay. She was really friendly, on time and also answered any questions I had. I would highly recommend A & A Masonry to anyone.

This is the 2nd time I have Used A&A for my porch - a few years ago we had a terrible experience with another company who did such a poor job that the steps were literally falling apart after only a few years. That's when we called A&A who did their very best a couple of years ago to repair and re-do some of the work of the previous company. Alas, even their hard work on refurbishing another's bad job was not enough - and we had to bite the bullet and decided to rip out all of the previous inferior work and start all over again. Given that A&A had worked so well and so diligently (even if in the end unsuccessfully) to earn my trust the last time, we called on them again. It was a good decision.

From the time that Greg first called me back and then came out to map out a strategy I just knew it was going to go well this time. Greg brought José (the concrete specialist who was going to do the job) with him and we all talked it over and came up with a general plan.

We did have some weather delays and so the job did not start as soon as we had all hoped but no one can control that. I was appreciative that everyone (Darren, José) agreed that this time the job HAD to be done RIGHT, and if that meant waiting few days or even a couple of weeks to ensure that the weather would not factor into the final product, that was the way to go.

José and his brother were an absolute treat to work with. He made suggestions, listened to my concerns, and it was obvious there was a high degree of pride in their workmanship. He went above and beyond in doing some other things for me that were not even in the contract - he was just a genuinely helpful man who wanted his customers to be happy. I am delighted to recognize José and his brother for the quality of their work and for the collegiality they showed me and the care for my property (even as evidenced by little things like a thorough clean-up on daily basis when they left for the day.

I am very pleased with José's work and I would not hesitate to call A&A again for another job in the future (just not this porch again!! <smile>!!

William and team over all did a super job. They arrived on time, helped with decisions, achieved excellent work and did thorough clean-up. It was a pleasure to work with a group of professionals and would recommend them anytime.

We used A&A for several different exterior repair and upgrade tasks. All of the teams have been excellent: knowledgeable, diligent, respectful, and friendly.

The waterproofing team had to excavate almost entirely using shovels, but were very efficient. The advice on the project we received from Greg was very helpful. At the same time, we had more than 40 bricks replaced on an exterior wall and on the chimney. We were very happy with the masonry crew. Our house is a late Victorian with high walls and not much working room. The masonry crew was able to find replacement bricks that blend well with the original. They worked very efficiently and cleanly despite the limited space.

This spring we had the interlocking team rebuild our front garden beds, replacing old rail ties with stone. The work on this project was truly spectacular. The crew was very careful to preserve our existing plants, and listened carefully to our request to expand the garden area where possible. We are completely delighted by the work. Justin and Thomas were not only friendly and polite, but gave us regular updates on the work, explaining the process whenever we had questions.

We also had this team redo our driveway and side walkway. They regraded the area beautifully and made the path to the backyard much easier to navigate. We are so pleased with the interlocking work. It looks clean and attractive, and adds so much to the front of the house.

We owe a major thanks to Haizel for helping us to find the stone and interlocking that worked for our project. Not only was she a helpful contact person, keeping us informed of any supply issues, she brought samples of various stone to us so that we could look at the actual product, not just pictures. This really helped solidify our decisions.

Overall, our experience with A&A was excellent. All aspects of the company were professional, respectful, helpful, and efficient. The service and results exceeded our expectations -- highly recommended!

Jon and Michael did a fantastic job repairing our flagstone landing and stairs as well as some repairs to the stone façade on the house.

They kept me informed of the work they were going to do and why. They also cleaned up and kept the entire site safe while they worked.

Justin and Thomas are incredible workers and were very diligent and easy to get along with. An excellent company offering expert service and good communication. Had a backyard patio and a front walkway put in and they are both a work of art.

Christian was prompt and very knowledgeable about his trade.Took the time to go over the job and did a walk through after the job was complete.

Edouardo and his crew were efficient, professional and courteous at all times. The work was done to perfection in a very timely fashion. When the project was complete they did a great job with the cleanup making sure everything was in order before they left. Overall my renovation was a very positive experience.

The project was well organized and happened on as timely a basis as weather would allow. Greg and his coworker were incredibly skilled and very hard-working. They had impeccable manners and the site was left spotless each evening. We are very pleased with the work.

Very pleased with Christian,s work . Parged both sides of my house and replaced some cracked bricks and mortar . Very punctual and professional. Christian is a very personable employee. Pointed out where my windows hadnt been calked and should be done. I would refer A&A for sure Thx Christian
