A weekend call for one unit in a complex that didn't have power in some rooms.
Breakers had been checked before calling, so we didn't know what the issue was.
We gave them resident contact number, and time was arranged and issue resolved without further input from us!

We found out about the company from our Real Estate Agent. They were also listed on the website of the Electrical Safety Authority.
Larry returned our phone calls promptly. He came at the agreed time and gave a free estimate. He thoroughly explained the job to be done. The Quotation he sent shortly afterwards described in detail the work to be done: rewiring most of the house, installing outlets and Smoke/CO2 detectors. The Quote gave a maximum price, and the start and completion dates, starting on a Monday and ending on the Friday of the same week.
On the first day a hardcopy of the contract was provided as well as an Invoice.
Larry and his assistants Kenneth and Jackson arrived daily at the time they said they would. The inspector of the Electrical Safety Authority came on the last day and the house passed inspection.
When Larry found out, after a few days, that not as much work was needed to be done, on his initiative he informed us that the price was reduced by $600 from the approximate cost.
The work was finished one day earlier than was stated in the contract. The house was left clean, and everything was done as agreed to.
We, the customers, were responsible for providing the different light fixtures; installing them was the electricians’ job. After the work was finished we found out that one of the light fixtures did not work as it should. We called Larry. He told us to buy a new one, and he would send someone to replace the fixture. It was done one day after I called.
For all of the above we highly recommend HC Electrical.

Larry & his partner (apologies, I missed his name!) arrived right on time to install two ceiling fans for me, and did an absolutely fantastic job. He was really good about verifying everything to code (both of mine had to be reinforced due to the weight of the fixtures and the ceiling setup in the condo). Both of them were SO nice and helpful, and I think the price was fair for the work completed and the time it took. I've already sent his contact info to two colleagues, and would highly recommend to anyone else!

This is the company you want doing electrical work on your home! Larry was extremely reliable, friendly, on time and on budget. He even came back to my home two months later, when I did some separate renovations in my home, to fix two outlets I had moved - at no extra cost. From the moment I met Larry I knew I liked him. He has a warm smile and honest personality. He arrived 10 minutes early to quote the job, walked me through the house from top to bottom explaining the size of holes that would be needed, and where the wires would feed through the walls, and adjusting the plan based on my future design needs. I then spent about 3 weeks quoting the job through various other companies, but HCElectrical came it most competitive. The job was completed on time and patched nicely. I could not believe how non-intrusive they were. After watching YouTube videos and seeing massive holes in drywall I was nervous. But Larry and his team made holes the size of a tennis ball, and patched them well. Not sure how else to express our gratitude. After only 9 months since Larry and the team came and performed a complete electrical upgrade of my house, a wind storm took down a rotten tree branch in my neighbourhood which resulted in the damages to the electrical wires to my home. The force of the tree pulled even my meter off the wall.

Unfortunately hydro could only repair their potion of the mess and I needed an electrician to repair everything on the house and have it ESA approved before hydro could reconnect service.

Larry came to the rescue the next day by rearranging his schedule at 7 in the morning to have this fixed which is a bit of an all day affair when taking into account inspection.

Larry is a very competent, experienced electrician, and a very nice person to work with. He removed the knobs and tubes and upgraded the electrical in our old house.He solved every problem that came his way, and stayed within the estimate he gave us at the beginning, and threw in a few perks. He and his buddy showed up when they said, and did a good job of coordinating with Hydro.
I would have liked more care around cleanliness. Making holes in plaster and then covering them is very messy, and the floors and carpets should have been protected. Work was rushed on the last day, which meant some holes were left for us to patch, and the clean up very superficial. Other than that, I would recommend HC electrical as a very competent and reliable company. Thanks Larry!

I hired HC Electrical because my double oven died and I needed my oven urgently for the holidays. Larry was very prompt to provide a quote and schedule the work on the same day. He quickly determined that my breaker needed replacement and other fuses were inadequate. At the same time, I discovered that Tasco's electrical installation of the ovens was faulty (no surprise there). Larry quickly repaired the electrical stuff and the ovens work like a charm. In the future, I will deal with Larry for all my electrical
needs.

The light in my home office kept flickering and even after I changed the bulb the problem continued. It got pretty annoying that I had to call an electrician. I didn't think it was a major problem and wasn't too happy with the prices I was quoted over the phone. Larry was different, he was honest, gave a good price and was able to come in and fix the issue the same day.
