Protech Gas Fitting & Plumbing

Contacted Protech and they gave me a quote over the phone. They came when they were scheduled and did a great job of installing my gas line and garage heater. Finished product very neat, area all cleaned up, and works as expected. All company personnel very pleasant to deal with.
Their price was about what I expected to pay which was a fair price, not over inflated like some of the quotes I got.
I would recommend Protech for any similar installs!

Quick response to request for urgent fitting of BBQ to existing but partially complete gas pipe. Work done very neatly and professionally and invoiced subsequently. Courteous and efficient staff on the phone.

I spoke with Rick on the phone, told him what I needed done, and he was able to arrange for Jesse to do the work at a convenient time for me, a week later per my request. As I recently reduced the size of my deck, I needed my existing BBQ gas line shortened. Jesse was professional and courteous and had the line shortened and neatly affixed to the underside of the new deck and replaced the valve in about an hour.

I had emailed for a quote. I was contacted right away. I received all the information right away. Darlene was very helpful and had me booked in for the next day. Work looks good and inspector had no concerns. Quite happy with the service received.

Protech came and installed my garage heater in one day. It was -30+ outside. They came earlier than expected since they could not work at another site that day so they were able to fit me in. Very professional install. No problem with inspection. Heater they installed is good quality and works great. I recommend their services.

We had just purchased a used home that need a bit of updating and one of the things on the wish list was a furnace for the garage. After searching the web we found ProTech plumbing. Best find of the year!
They were prompt in supplying information and pricing on the product we had requested. When we ordered the furnace and Darlene made all the arrangements for the install. Unfortunately the when the techs arrived, it was clear that the product would not work in our situation. The techs recommended an alternate product that would work well so we decided to have that unit installed.
ProTech has to be one of the best trades we have used during our renovation project and would highly recommend them to anyone needing their services.

In the last year or two, we've had protech come in to do various things around the house including a BBQ gas line install, kitchen/stove vent install (some reason they built the house with a vent that never vented outside), various plumbing around the house, furnace, AC, and humidifier install. Overall we are quite pleased with the level of service from protech (you can tell by how many times they have been at my house). I usually have high expectations and even when I have the smallest concern about something, Rick is on top of it and the next thing I know, the guys are at the house to fix it. I appreciate the guarantee I get on protech's workmanship and that's why I keep going back. I definitely recommend these guys.

Second time using Protect Plumbing with equally positive results. This time my furnace was inspected by Atco and when completed the let me know that my gas valve was leaking natural gas. Atco shut the gas off to the furnace for obvious safety reasons and left as the house temperature dropped to 58 degrees due to winter weather(Thanks Atco). I called Protech Plumbing, after previous history using them, and within 24 hours the furnace was repaired and running. My family appreciates the urgency and professionalism from Protect. Thank you.

WOW! I had been struggling with rude people on kijiji where I had gotten 3 jaw dropping high quotes. I finally had enough and thought 'fine, I'm just going to have to pay an outrageous amount to a legitimate company' Well I wrote to Protech (the legitimate company I found through online research) on a Friday morning at 7:00am, by 8:34am Rick had responded that his tech would be there by 11:30, THE SAME DAY! Not only did they quote the best price out of the 4 companies, they had outstanding customer service, sent the official quote via email ahead of time and did not ask for payment until the job was done and approved! What a sense of relief, this will certainly be our company of choice for any of our gas needs in the future, thank you for making this experience one we can always feel positive about. Our fireplace has been burning non stop since Protech came and we love it!
