We had Steve as our inspector. He is so professional. He checked things thoroughly and explained findings patiently . It was a great learning experience for us. Would definitely use Steve for our next inspection.

We decided to book AA Elite after reading the positive reviews here, along with the fact that they offered the infrared imaging technology. John took our initial call and was pleasant and informative. Promptly thereafter, Steve contacted us stating he would be inspecting, I want to mention they were able to accomodate us with only several days notice so we appreciated that as well. Steve showed up early for the appointment and had already started on the external elements of the property. He came fully prepared and kept all his equipment neatly in one spot. During the PDI, we were occupied completing the walk-thru with the builder's representative while Steve was busy completing his own inspection. After we had finished with the builder, he took the time to go through the house again to show us his findings. Everything was well documented through pictures and Steve's memory. What I really appreciated about his style was that he communicated concisely the issue and offered real-world, simple analogies to explain the science and physics behind how different components of a house worked. He was patient and answered all our questions. Very importantly, he was thorough and pointed out more items to add to our PDI report. By the end of it, we felt much more secure and confident in our home purchase. We would thoroughly recommend them to anyone and plan on utilizing their services again, quite possibly for tarion warranty inspections. Thanks very much Steve!

I called Elite Home Inspection to inspect my roof when it kept leaking after we had just had it re-shingled. Their cost was more than reasonable and they were quick to come out to my house and were able to find several issues that the roofers had done incorrectly. They offered advice, took pictures and helped me understand the 'lingo' so that I would be able to go back to the roofing company and know what I was talking about. I did just that and we are now in the works of getting an entirely new roof!

I had a leak and a large crack on my ceiling. Spoke to Steve over the phone and he wanted to save me money so he provided some insights into the leak and crack over the phone and recommended a few options for me to followup. He obvious was very experienced and understood what I was describing and was very helpful.

I contacted these guys after reading all the positive reviews on this site. We had Steve as our inspector. He was very helpful in explaining everything he was doing and also explaining how the home actually works for energy efficiency. He went out of his way to answer every single question we had in a way that was easy to understand. He was very helpful in determining which items we should go back to the seller to fix.

I contacted this customer after looking at their reviews and checking out there website. It was the only company that I could see that included the price of the infrared camera with the inspection and was very reasonable. Steve was extremely professional and thorough during the inspection, identifying all issues both small and large. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing these services.

We chose AA Elite to inspect the century home we considered purchasing, based on the number of positive reviews from customers. Steve did a thorough inspection of the old home, answering all our questions during and after the process, and even providing a “crash course” on infrared camera inspection prior to checking the entire house for temperature and moisture related issues. He invited me along so I could see the results and get explanations where needed.

This will be the 6th home we’re purchasing, and we’ve had inspections for all of them, but I have to say that this was the best experience we’ve had on several levels: Steve went all out to check this home, built in 1901, literally from top to bottom, pointed out real or potential problem areas, took standard and infrared photos of all problem items for the report, and made suggestions and recommendations along the way. He even noticed items that I’m sure many inspectors wouldn’t have: for example, that one of the 3 twisted overhead hydro cables supplying power to the house was snapped and hanging down, more than 50 ft from the house behind mature trees, although power was still being supplied to the house (we subsequently informed the agent and hydro company).

At the end of the inspection, we appreciated that he verbally outlined the major problem areas, prior to following up with a detailed, online inspection report that can be saved and printed, and contains useful links. We would highly recommend Steve and AA Elite to anyone who’s planning on getting an inspection done, especially if they want to be absolutely confident about a purchasing decision. If we ever need another home inspected, we'll definitely hire AA Elite again.
