Red Robin Masonry

From the start I enjoyed working with Red Robin. I called the top 4 companies homestars recommended, and although most of them were pleasent, I found some were pushy and overly expensive to "cover their overhead".
John was pleasent and showed up on time, provided a competative quote the next day. He understood me when I said I wanted to restore the look of my 100+ year old house, while others told me I could cover it with stone veneer. He also suggested re-using the good bricks from my chimney to replace some "spalling?" bricks at the front that would be an issue in the future, you cant even notice the work now that its done. The workers were pleasent, respectful of my garden and did a great clean at the end. I have recomended Red Robin to my neighbours, and will continue to do so! Thanks again, and John I'll be sure to call you next summer for the flagstone!

We would highly recommend Red Robin Masonry to our friends and neighbors for masonry related work. We had two of our 1920's dated brick chimneys torn down and rebuilt from the roofline and three stories of scaffolding were set up. The entire team was a pleasure to deal with throughout the process and the expected timelines were met, despite having to manage through rainy days and respecting our neighbors whose driveway they had to borrow. John provided us with a detailed quote electronically and was the most responsive out of all the 6 other companies we were interviewing and highlighted certain things that could go wrong during the install and the potential cost (none of these examples surfaced in the end but we appreciated the heads-up on potential hidden costs). The work crew was friendly, extremely hardworking and left the site with minimal debris. Dave kept us in the loop on the job and followed up with us afterwards. We would definitely use them again for masonry-related work.

I am rewriting my original review (which was harsh). Red Robin has since lived up to everything I could ask for in finishing my project and referring me to other great contractors (a general contractor and a landscape contractor). I'm very happy with their service.

This review is long overdue. Sweet and simple, this is a great company and very professional. And the cleanup, wow, you won't even know they were there. My thanks to all the guys who were quick and efficient in replacing my crumbled brick chimney. The brick was matched up so well that you couldn't tell it from the original. Additional patch cement work was done on the walkway and a few exterior walls. All in all, they were prompt in responding and came out when they said. Cost was very reasonable. We never bothered with other quotes as they were recommended by friends and that was good enough for us. For masonry work, you can't miss with Red Robin.

We hired Red Robin to repair a wall that crumbled only a year after a contractor had repaired it. They identified the problem and rebuilt the wall quickly and efficiently. It looks great and feels / looks far better built than it was. They did everything they could to accommodate my timeline and completed the work quickly and at a good price. In addition, they identified the source for potential future problems with the wall and gave excellent advice on how to avoid those problems in the future.

We needed a rain guard installed on a house that we just purchased. Right from my initial inquiry, Dave provided excellent service. The cost was very reasonable and competitive. The work was completed quickly and it looks great!

I have hired Red Robin several times over the years and when I required more masonry work on my home, I didn't hesitate to call them again. They are always reliable, professional and very reasonably priced. Frankly, I'd be hard pressed to trust anyone else to do masonry work on my home. They are exceptional.

The site was left in a clean condition and the team worked well with the window installers to make sure their needs were accommodated.

The Red Robin team was extremely reliable and professional in their reparation of the top of a leaning parapet wall on the outside of my kitchen. Because the wall is covered with siding, I did not know the full extent or severity of the damage, only that there was a lean at the top of the wall. The Red Robin team was able to confirm the total extent of the water damage to the wall very easily, and did not extend their scope of work (and ensuing cost) past what was required to repair the wall and restore it to it's original integrity and appearance. The craftsmanship was outstanding! Furthermore, they also identified that my chimney was leaning in a hazardous fashion, which I did not realize since it is not easily visible from the ground level. Their recommendation to re-construct the chimney and willingness to change their schedule to accommodate it added tremendous value, as they were on site and had half of the required scaffolding already set up for the wall job. This saved me approximately $1,500 in additional setup costs that I would have otherwise eaten in the near future. The Chimney and the wall both look great, I received the best value and workmanship possible, all of the work was completed in less than a week. Best of all, all work areas were spotless when the team completed the project. I would recommend Red Robin Masonry to anyone!
