AlphaOne was amazing! They were fast, on budget and kept the communication open. I do not live near the home that she was renovating and staging so trust was very important for me. She was able to manage the entire project for me and deliver a house that was absolutely gorgeous. I cannot say enough good things about this company. They are honest, dedicated and professional. They will work with you and your budget to ensure the best outcome for you! I would not hesitate to recommend or use them again.

Homestaging was the furthest thing from our minds when we decided to sell our house. We did not give it a second thought because we believed we should be able to do it ourselves and we could not afford it. After 2 months of being on the market unsuccessfully, we turned to Alpha One based on these great reviews and we were definitely not disappointed!
Even though we could not imagine what could possibly be done to our house to improve it, Barbara gave us some great tips which we would never have thought of on our own.
Our whole family was so pleasantly surprised especially, my husband, who is always a skeptic. It is SO cozy and pretty and we LOVE the use of lighting,artwork, and placement of the furniture which evokes such a nice feeling of being at a high end resort.
Although we have not seen the fruits of the staging, our hopes are definitely heightened and our only regret is that we did not call Alpha One sooner.
We are so grateful that Barbara came the day of our call and she and her team staged our place only a few days later. Thanks so much Alpha One. I really believe we cannot afford not to call you if we ever sell again in the future.

Barbara and her team did wonders in our house. When we walked in after it had been staged, we were amazed and actually quite speechless. We even second guessed selling! It looked elegant, but not over the top and the colours and placement of items was perfect. Barbara was clear with instructions, friendly and all-around a delight to work with. We had a limited amount of time, but Barbara made it happen (even with the distance between us - Toronto-Hamilton). She kept in contact with us before, during and after the staging was done, as well as after the take down. We were even able to leave our dog in the house (which was convenient for us as we were both working during the staging and take down). We were hesitant to have staging done at all, as it was the first time we sold a house. However, after our realtor highly recommended Barbara and her team, we went for it. We're so happy we did. Our house sold in less than 24 hours for the price we wanted and we truly believe the staging made that happen. We talk highly of Barbara and her team, and recommend AlphaOne to our family and friends. Absolutely amazing!

If you want to sell your home or condo for top dollar, what can I say that hasn’t already been said about AlphaOne. Time and time again, Barbara’s AlphaOne Team have surpassed my client’s and my staging expectations when it comes to sales results. This is one company that is always striving to be the best there is.

We had a big house that was in need of just the right presentation to get the best possible offer we could get. Barbara and her team at ALPAHOne Staging Design was able strike the perfect balance. There was enough furniture to truly "stage" the house and make every room appear valuable and functional - and she was even able to incorporate some of my mother's works art. However, it was not so over the top as to be overkill and break the bank. Everything was the level of quality you would expect and matched perfectly with the character of our (former) house. In the end, the pictures and presentation looked so good, I almost wanted to buy the house back myself!

I researched staging and had high hopes that it would result in selling our condo more quickly and for a higher price. I reached out to Barbara expressing interest in her services; she quickly replied and we set up an initial consultation. During the consultation, Barbara and Bentley walked through our condo and provided suggestions for furniture removal, fixture updates, and new paint colours for two accent walls and the master bathroom. We implemented their recommendations and were very happy with the results. Removing specific furniture pieces helped the condo to feel more spacious and the new paint colours brightened up the space. We also took Barbara’s suggestion for changing our kitchen counters to quartz (they were previously laminate). It turned out to be an excellent suggestion as they looked fantastic and became a new selling feature for the condo.

On staging day, Barbara and Bentley staged our condo beautifully! We were so happy with the result. The furniture, accent pieces and accessories they brought in made the condo feel more contemporary and stylish. Everything blended so well with the existing colour scheme and style of the condo. The furniture layout and strategic placement of mirrors enhanced each room and made the condo feel huge. They also used many of our own furniture pieces and artwork, just in different ways and in different rooms. In was interesting to gain a new perspective on placement of our own items!

We were extremely pleased with our experience with Barbara and Bentley at AlphaOne. And you can’t argue with results: our condo sold in one day after only 3 showings, for $3k over-asking price. In addition, we set a new record in our building for the highest selling price for a non-penthouse, 2-bedroom suite! Amazing! I am a true believer that staging works and AlphaOne can help you to achieve great results with the sale of your home.

Barbara and her Alphaone team certainly came through for us. Our property yielded many showings during off-season (late November and into December). The result SOLD at asking price.

When our Realtor suggested staging our home we were surprised. After all, we loved our home and furnishings. We knew that the decision to stage offered us the lowest risk and the most to gain - a quick sale and favourable price. A one hour consult with Barbara offered a reliable and cost efficient staging plan. 'Light and bright' 'decorating and simplifying bedroom space' is what sells Barbara advised. The end result - worthy of a 5 star hotel! She excelled in simplifying and showing off the function and focal points of each one of our rooms. I could hardly believe it when I walked into my master bedroom and saw how she managed to give our outdated bedroom suite a second life!

Behind the scenes is what I valued most. Start to finish customer service. Barbara made all the calls and uses reputable service providers. Movers came and went, storage arranged, staging/de-staging, everything taken care of.
