Kris's company did such a great job from beginning to end. They painted our entire house. The work was immaculate. They painted old wainscotting and made it look new. They are pleasant when they work, meticulous, and agreeable when you ask them to do something. The price was reasonable and the work outstanding. WE have dealt with a lot of contractors and this was by far the best experience we have had. I highly recommend this company.

Just bought a new home and needed the ENTIRE place painted. We interviewed a number of potential candidates (that we got from home stars ) but Kris was by far the best price and the person we felt most comfortable with. He was kind, clear, extremely helpful, extremely reliable, and extremely professional. It was a pleasure communicating with him throughout the project. We hired Kris to paint our master bedroom and bathroom after some shower renovations that affected our walls and ceiling. He came on short notice, did a wonderful job and finished quickly by being very efficient with his time. He even helped us touch up other areas in the house. Kris is the best! He was fast, accurate, clean, lovely to work with, and the final payment was exactly what he quoted. On top of that -we decided after the first nigh to change the colour of the entire main space. Kris got his paint shop to open early to get our new paint, repainted everything, and STILL finished on time!

After installing recessed lighting in my kitchen, living and dining rooms, there were holes in my ceiling due to the wiring that had to be done. There were almost twice as many empty holes as there were lights. I hired Kris to patch up probably more holes than he has ever seen in a ceiling that size. I also asked him to remove the stucco, and then skim, prime and paint the ceiling. All of this was done in a matter of days because Kris and Pete were always very prompt, in good spirits and took pride in their work. They were very helpful by answering any questions I had and made many useful suggestions even if it wasn't related to the job. I would not hesitate to hire them again. In fact, I probably will.

Kris and his colleague Pete are great! They are very clean, organized, and punctual. We got about 9 quotes for painting, and his was right in the middle in terms of price. I was a bit skeptical at first, because I hadn't hired anyone from Homestars before. However, after seeing his work, I am impressed. In addition to painting, we also asked him to make one of the room's ceiling smooth... and it looks brand new! And throughout the job, he has given honest and solid advice, whether it be the finish of the paint to the colour. And Kris is kind enough to offer help and advice with other little things around the house... he even fixed a tile on the floor! Would definitely recommend him.

My husband and I had just purchased a house in the north end of Toronto. We contacted Mr. Kris by phone along with other painters on the site and even though Kris's Painting was above the average of most quotes, due to his professionalizm and knowledge we made our decision. Mr. Kris had recommended our line of paint and the colour of the paint, with no surprise we were absolutly please with his selections. Once on the job Kris and his crew did a superb and professional masterpiece to our house. I was amazed at there speed and efficiency. In 6 days Kris and a crew of 2 wonderful employees repaired hundreds of holes in our plaster walls and finished with an amazing paint finish. I will definitly recommend Kris's Painting to anyone looking for a professional trades man and crew to paint and/or repair there home.
