When I set out to find a reliable roofing company, I consulted 5 different companies, including one that is mentioned on a local radio station. The only one that was personally recommended by a colleague was Shawn's company. Even so, I interviewed the others just in case. In comparing all the companies, I'd have to say that Shawn stood out in his personable approach, taking time to answer questions, explaining the process thoroughly and basically, making me feel very assured that our home was going to be in the right hands. I liked how he encouraged finding out as much as I could, never making me feel pressured to use his company but simply educated me on the things to look for. Even when I questioned the reputability of one of the companies I was considering, he never spoke negatively of them. Shawn has shown himself to be integrous simply because he is confident of what his company delivers: professionalism, quality and service in a timely manner. His quote was in the mid range. I'm glad I didn't go with the cheapest guy (that company turned out to be one that had changed company names because their reviews were so bad). Shawn did what he said he would do; his men worked quickly and efficiently and were courteous. He even took the time to look into some leaking issues that weren't related to the roof as well as returning to my home to look at an issue I had that was purely aesthetic. I had already warned him that I was a "picky" consumer. I'm glad to say that he humoured me and was very professional yet friendly. Needless to say; I had no hesitation in recommending him to our neighbor who also has very high standards. Thanks, Shawn, for making the experience pleasant. It was a pleasure dealing with you. - make sure you are armed with research and ask lots of questions. be aware of the guy who offers to beat the competition. there's always something they're going to cut corners on
