Floorwood Solutions Inc. No Longer In Business

We heard about Floorwood thru Homestars. Vintage made the hardwood we wanted ( Handscraped Hickory Winchester) and Floorwood is a Vintage dealer, but what really attracted us to Floorwood was their reputation for quality installations. Our house is 65 years old and the floors are not very level or even. We did some sub-floor prep on our own but Robert and Darek did the rest and the result is spectacular. A beautiful upgrade and no squeeks or noises from any of the boards. They did some really nice work to shim the floor where needed, and some great carpentry work around our radiator pipes, the fireplace area, and around the door sills. Patricica is a great organizer so these guys show up when they say they will, unlike many other contractors we've used. We'd use them again, for sure.

From the beginning of consultation to completion of hardwood installation, Rob and Derek are really professional and helpful. I would highly recommend Floorwood Solutions to anyone that is looking for a worry-free and excellent company.

Robert came back to floors they had originally installed to repair some boards damaged by little ones and clumsy parents. Allowed boards to acclimatize on site, returned and did excellent job of making boards look like original install. Highly recommend.

Robert and Derek installed my hardwood and as I expected they did a fantastic job. The area that impressed me the most was where the tile and hardwood meet. Their ability to make the floors meet perfectly was outstanding. I got to know rob and Derek at a few job sites we were working on together as I am also in the renovation business. The work I had seen at their other jobs gave me no choice but to use them for my own home and they certainly did not disappoint.

We can not say enough about the quality of workmanship provided by Darek and Robert from Floorwood Solutions. Their attention to detail and work ethic really is obvious from the moment they start the job. They carefully plan out the job and execute it with perfect results. Transitions are made from the flooring and look factory made, which makes the transition look seamless. Floorwood has done several jobs for us in the past and I would not recommend anyone else.

Requested them to do our house batches at a time. as we do not have a lot of space to store bought wood. They have been more than accommodating. The work by Robert and Derek finished with in the time the allotted for and stopped working when I asked them, as I was working from home that day.

We had a great experience dealing with Floorwood Solution. We decided to install hardwood flooring in most of the main floor (kitchen, family room, dining and living area, aprox. 900sq.ft). I came across Patricia from Floorwood Solution who was able to provide pricing for the product we wanted even though the availability was limited. Robert visited us for measurements and advises regarding installation. Very easy to deal with through emails and extremely prompt in responses.
Installation went smooth and finished ahead of schedule. Robert and Sebastian did an amazing job and were able to help me with their expertise regarding various challenges I encountered during renovation.
The result is great and we’ll definitely consider Floorwood Solutions for replacing the flooring in the rest of the house.
