I called Valentin to troubleshoot my backed up basement floor drain, after the City had cleared the sanitary line (including my side of the property, which they don’t normally do). Valentin discovered the flap of my backwater valve had broken off - City crew did not remove the backwater valve when snaking!
Valentin previously quoted me for scoping and snaking, but did not charge extra for retrieving the broken flap at the bottom of the trap. He was resourceful, patient and persistent as it took several methods and attempts to fish out the flap. A week later, Dennis followed up to replace the valve portion for $160, which still saved me from replacing and digging up the whole backwater valve system.
I always call Strong Plumbing for my plumbing issues (since 2015) and they continue to exceed my expectations. Great service Valentin!

As part of a bigger renovation project, we wanted to upgrade our main water service to 3/4' as well as install a backwater valve and upgrade the drain pipes that go out of the house.

Strong Plumbing was recommended to us by another contractor on site doing structural work and I am very happy I got in touch with Valentin.

He came by the very next day and was able to provide very clear quote for the work that needs to be done both in terms of money and time. We had a couple other quotes for this portion of the job and Valentin's price and plan was the best by far.

The work started and finished exactly according to plan and the team was flexible enough to help me with some last minute small requests when digging and replacing the drain pipes. I was very impressed with the team's workmanship, equipment and quality of work. It is clear that they do this a lot and have the tools and expertise to do a great job. When they finished my basement was left clean and tidy as they found it.

A faulty mixing valve on our hot water tank left us with only lukewarm water coming out of any of our hot water taps. I called Val in the morning and he was at our place by early afternoon with a replacement part. A very quick, thorough, and professional job. This is our second time using this company and they were, in both cases, friendly and professional. I would recommend them without hesitation.

Valentin is an absolute pleasure. He came on time (even earlier which is great!), followed COVID Safety Precautions (Mask and even the foot wraps) and helped fix the leak in my kitchen sink. He spent the time making sure it was fixed properly, testing it multiple times to ensure there were no issues. Not only did he do an amazing job (and used high quality materials), he answered a bunch of questions I had with my condo in regards to plumbing and took the time to explain solutions and fixes that he believed I could do myself. I normally never write reviews, but Valentin will be my go to whenever I have issues around my place when it comes to plumbing. His rates are very competitive compared to others (honest with pricing) and I'll recommend Valentin to my friends and family whenever they need plumbing services. Friendly, professional, takes the time to help answer questions, and the service is amazing.

Val traced a leak in our basement to the dishwasher above and only charged us for the service call. While in the basement, he noticed our ancient sump pump was not doing its job any more. He told us about a city program to help with sump pump replacement and put in a new pump for us, saving us from a potential basement flood.

Valentin was really responsive and explained the issue and his suggestion to fix it clearly. He quoted me over text with a few photos and then quickly came the follow week. Great service!

Valentin came this morning to take out the old leaking kitchen faucet and install the new one. Our shut off valves under the sink were no longer in working order and after talking to Valentin about that while he was fixing the faucet, he made time to replace them as well. He also added a third shut off for our under sink water purifier ! We are so happy to be able to call on Valentin! He is such a professional. His work is wonderful and it is a real pleasure to know him! Christina
