Sam the handyman is not a person they are a great company. They showed up on time, did clean, efficient work and came back to take care of a bit I was concerned about. They replaced my chimney, replaced a bunch of old cracked bricks, a window sill, and some tuck pointing. Great service!

My wife noticed a leak around the laundry area down in our basement one morning. We inspected the walls and realized that major work need to be done. We’ve always wanted a finished basement anyway, but didn’t have it in our budget to tackle such a project. When we were curious to see how much basement renovations went for, it wasn’t the prices directly that deterred us from going through with the project. Frankly, we didn’t like the contractors that inspected and quoted our potential basement project. They came off really hasty and seemed as if they just wanted to get in and get out as quickly as possible. That was true until we met Sam from Sam the Handyman, he was very professional and really took his time explaining everything. With the damages to our basement, he was able to answer all our questions and show us what we were to expect with this type of work we needed to have done. We hired Sam on the spot and have never been happier with our decision. He lowered our basement by a foot, fixed our basement to prevent future leaks and we now have a finished basement that we have enjoyed leak free. Thanks Sam. (To clarify the pricing, it was $31600 for the lowering and $20700 for the finishing renovation)

Sam and his team replaced some bricks in our doorway pillars, tuckpointed the entire house where needed and fixed the concrete at the top of our chimney. A big thank you guys at Sam the handyman. Our crumbling chimney needed to be replaced and due to water issues, we needed a significant amount of tuck-pointing on our exterior brick walls. We were pleasantly surprised to learn that work would begin right away, two days after we decided to proceed with the work. Sam and helpers began the job on a Friday and worked through the weekend to finish on Sunday. We were very impressed with Sam`s workmanship, flexibility and speed. All guys were friendly and knowledgeable. They even gave us good advice on how to solve our water issue. After the work was complete, the job site was clean and tidy. We definitely recommend Sam and crew.

Sam provided a detailed quote to remove our 81 year old, very tall, brick and stucco chimney. He was referred to me from a neighbor whose stately chimney was also recently rebuilt. She was very happy with her new chimney. Sam had to remove the crumbling chimney and then rebuild from the roof up. His work crew was professional, polite, tidy and helpful. They were so tidy that no one would know that we had any work done at all! His crew sealed off the fireplace on the inside to prevent anything from dropping into our home before they began work. The color of the new bricks matches the house perfectly and Sam followed up to ensure that we're happy with our new chimney. And we are!
