Reliable Home Comfort

We had many quotes for a new furnance and no one was able to answer the questions, provide the detailed steps for the process to install a new furnance as well as Reliable Home Comfort. Dave had an easy-to-like personality from the beginning and is the type of person you can trust to do a good job at a great value. We originally thought we were going to select a different contractor - but after the first 30 seconds we were with Dave those thoughts changed. What a difference in professionalism and experience! I have extensive building experience and knew that a great install is the most important part of a furnance - you will not get all the benefits of any furnance if it is not set-up or installed properly.

Dave and team exceeded our expectations and did EXACTLY what he committed to within the timeframes. He was on time, installation was very good (he actually corrected issues from the original installer), and the work area was spotless after completion. The entire team was very polite and you can tell they have alot of pride in their work.

We strongly recommend Reliable Home Comfort and have already planned to have them install a new A/C unit in spring of 2009. We will be recommeding Reliable to all of our neighbours and friends.

The last thing is the actual furnance - The Goodman furnance has been installed for 2 months and we are extremely happy with it so far. The 2 stage fan has eliminated cold spots in our house by keeping air in continuous motion and is extremely quiet.

I had red-tag situation and was left without heat on a cold January night. Dave was the only one who came right away, evaluated my situation, and explained in details all my options. I was able to choose the right one for me, I’ve got exceptionally good value for my high-efficiency furnace, and it took Dave’s team a few hours to replace my old furnace. After installation Dave helped me to register my warranty, explained and helped with all papers, as well as explained how it works and what I should pay attention to.
I will highly recommend Reliable Home Comfort to any of my friends and colleagues as reliable, knowledgeable, experienced and customer-friendly company. I am glad that this level of service still exists.

The technician was at our house within an hour of calling at 8pm, and fixed what ended up being a loose wire for free. Technician was clean, polite and informative. Would definately recommend these guys in the future and will call them when I have additional work to be done.

Furnace and AC Installation
From the sales call to the installation it was a really great experience. Dave and Liviu are a great team, very prompt, pleasant and very knowledgeable. The workmanship was excellent and they completed the job within the stated time. I would highly recommend this company to everyone.

My furnace (one of high-efficiency Goodman models) first shut off in mid-October. The company that initially installed it tried to fix it but quickly gave up and ?hose not to answer my calls. I found Dave from Reliable Home Comfort (through Goodman who recommended him as one of the more experienced contractors of theirs). Unfortunately, the problem with my furnace turned to be most complicated and unusual as people from Goodman had to acknowledge (the furnace's electronic board went "crazy" in a very unpredictable way). Nonetheless, all along the way Dave was very determined and confident that the problem could and should be resolved. He was there to help us each time that the furnace shut off (which was often) and kept saying that we were partners in making it work perfectly. He pushed the guys from Goodman for replacement parts, spent a lot of time trying to make Goodman do what was needed, and finally succeeded. My furnace has been working now for more than three weeks without any problem and I know that I can always rely on Dave and his colleagues if anything ever goes wrong. Recently we had Reliable Home Comfort replace our furnace and install an air condition unit.We were impressed with Dave and his assistant, Liviu, not only for their great workmanship but, also for
their professionalism and patience. This was one of those jobs where everything that could go wrong,did go wrong! Difficulties included having the wrong furnace delivered.(It had been mislabelled at the manufacturing site),limited work space, difficulty with duct work, and having to run wires from the basement to the upstairs livingroom because the existing thermostat had only two wires instead of he required four. Thus a six to seven hour job became a two-day, fourteen-hour job. Through it all,Dave and Liviu were patient,deligent, and committed to doing work of which they could be proud. The next day,when we discovered a leak in the humidifier tubing and called them, they came back that afternoon and fixed it. We have no reservations about recommending Dave. To us he definitely rates a ten for performance and service.

Just had two furnacves and air conditioners installed by Dave. Got 5 quotes and these guys were the lowest. They did a fantastic job and were very clean. They helped us out alot. Would highly recommend this company to anyone thinking of replacing their system. I will deffinitely call these guys again and I will use them for all maintenace in the future. Thanks guys! Furnace broke down today, called Direct Energy and no one could come out. Neighbour recommended Dave, called him up and he was here within 2 hours! Excellent service! Put a new furnace in the same day that I called, kept things neat and didn't even know he was here until the heat was back up and running. It is nice to know there are some people out there that live up to their name! Thanks again!

I called Reliable HC in a real panic when my furnace broke on coldest day of the year, Dave came in and gave me a competitive price for a new unit and got the install done the very next day. Very clean proffesional install. I would definately recomend.
