Java, however, wasn't scared off by a small job, and we didn't have to wait weeks for them to help us out. On the day of the job, they were prompt, friendly, tidy and efficient. Antonio and his team were very professional and courteous. They take pride in their work and it shows in their workmanship. Every problem was solved with ease and proved that they have the experience to do the job and do it well. Having pot lights installed for the first time Antonio's guidance proved immeasurable. He really knew what he was doing and provided great suggestions on the best way to position them and get maximum lighting. We worked with Antonio and his crew over a period of several months to wire a new addition and reconfigure an existing area of our home. Antonio was able to give sound advice on the best location for lights and switches. This job involved the installation of many lights in tight spaces. Some of the work involved outdoor lighting. They were able to install a sound system as well. No job was too complex. The team was knowledgeable, professional and very importantly honest. The most trustworthy and highest-quality contractor I have dealt with--Antonio and his Java crew do everything with class. We've done two total house rewirings with them, installing everything: a motion-detector light in brick outside, new extra-large exhaust fans for the kitchen and bathrooms, pot lights, new dishwashers, garberators, chandeliers, ethernet cables, 24 new lines, changeover of our panel from 100 Amps to 200 Amps, attic lights, pot lights, halogen lights, bathroom wall heaters, complex cable/satellite arrangements, and a lot more. Antonio and his crew were 110% professional throughout, being extra careful to not cause any damage or unnecessary disruption. Antonio's an electrical engineer, so he definitely knows what he's doing. His rates for everything are very reasonable, and well worth the top-quality he will give you. Very trustworthy and honest--not just him but his whole crew. He even breaks down the invoice down to the penny. I wouldn't even consider another electrician. Worth every cent.

We got Antonio's name from this site, which has consistently provided access to excellent tradespeople. The GFCI on our hot tub fails about every year, and although I have changed it myself it's a dirty job and always seems to come at the coldest day of the year. Last year we got a quote to move it to a more conveniemt location, and the electrician (not a Homestars listing) gave us an outrageous price because he wanted to add all new wiring, junction boxes etc. So I did again myself but vowed to have it moved this fall.
Antonio came with an hour as he was in the neighbourhood. He told us why it kept failing (dampness) and suggested that we install it right at the incoming breaker panel where it's warm and easy to service. He called his supplier and gave us his pricing - which was hundreds of dollars cheaper than the previous quote. I knew the price as I had bought them before myself.
Bad weather delayed his expected install date, but he kept in touch and arrived on the first suitable day and did the work in under about an hour. Having done it before, I as very impressed with trouble he went to to clean up the area, ensure that all the connections were water tight and secure.
Obviously we will use his services again when the need arises.
