Arby Cartage

We chose Arby Cartage based on the great reviews posted by other people on this site and are glad that we did. We've moved at least a half-dozen times over the years but this was definitely our best moving experience. Arby himself was very friendly and helpful when we organized the move via phone and email. It's a family business with a long history, so that makes it different from the usual moving companies. The only "complaint" I have is that the crew showed up 20 minutes early on moving day, which would have been great under usual circumstances but since we had been up really late the night before, we still had to finish loading up our own van with smaller items that we had piled near the entrance and hallway that would have been in the crew's way (but that was our fault and showing up early is much better than too late!). During the move, the crew was efficient and took good care of our stuff - it felt as if they were moving their own family's stuff. Most of all, we appreciated that Arby's son Anil, who is very professional and polite, took the time not only to re-assemble our daughter's day bed, but also offered to assemble her new IKEA bed which was still packaged in the box! -- I can only highly recommend this company and on top of all their rates for the move are more than reasonable. As others have already said, you'll be glad you hired them.

I moved from an apartment to a small house. Anil came to give a quote when he said he would, brought boxes to be used as needed, and came on time to do the move. He and his workers showed initiative in moving furniture that wouldn't fit, worked efficiently, and were friendly and polite. Nothing got broken. The bill had no add-ons that I hadn't been told about. I chose this company because of Anil's businesslike but pleasant approach, as well as a reasonable quote. Arby made the move as stress-free as it could be.

Arby & Anil were lifesavers, not only did they exceed my expectations as movers, they were a pleasure to deal with when I was frantic with the proposition of moving a house I'd been in for 20 years in Mississauga, to a rental house half the size.

We used Arby Movers for 2 moves within a one month time frame.
The moment we contacted Arby, he was straight forward and very helpful.
Our first move was 2 stops, one for storage and the next to a rental, until our new home was ready to move in to. Anil and his crew arrived early. They were very efficient and productive and even finished the 2 stops in less than the time estimated. They arrived early for our second move to the new house as well. Anil, and his crew, once again, were very efficient and productive and even helpful in putting the bed frames together before they left.
We wouldnt hesitate to use Arby movers again. Their rates are fair, they are true to their word and provide excellent service.

Arby and Anil were absolutely responsive and reliable when booking. I head some problems with the furniture company and pick up date and had to reschedule it a couple of times. They replied on time to every email I sent, booked the date and time as we agreed, didn't miss a thing. Ahmad and guys were punctual and caring, neat and respectful. They called on time, arrived to the pick u place as they said they would, took good care of the pieces during transport and drop off, cleaned after unpacking, put everything at its right place, were careful not to touch any surfaces. No fault, decent price.

Wow, what a great team! The guys were on time, efficient, courteous, strong, overall extremely professional. I was very pleased to see how much care they took to ensure that my hardwood floor would not get damaged, they covered the floor, staircase and removed their shoes. We had two heavy fridges that had to be moved from the basement, the job was complex due to the shape of the staircase, limited amount of clearance and considering the heavy weight of both items. Everything went very smoothly.
I would recommend this company without reservations.
