After looking at many flooring places and getting several quotes we went to Speers and got the best price for prefinished . Since they don't sand existing flooring they give us the name of a contractor EC Hardwood and they were the only people that told us that we could take an oak flooring lighter. We decided to replace all the hardwood flooring in our house and decided to use Speers Flooring for the second time. Speers did such a great job the first time we did not hesitate to go with them again, and are very pleased with the result. We appreciate how efficiently and cleanly the work was performed. The crew arrived on time. The job involved a tear out of approximately a 1000 sq. ft. of carpet, a cleanup and installation of laminate flooring. The job was done in the scheduled time and the results were great. If I had to recommend a flooring company to friends, Speers Flooring would be the one. I am a designer/decorator and I have been using Speers Flooring for approx. 13 years. I have always been satisfied with their service and product but I must say that on this last project that was a bit complicated due to many reasons but mostly because both my client and myself were away at the same time and the job had to be completed before she moved into her new home, they went above and beyond their call of duty to get the flooring job done. I actually thought at one point my client would not go through with it because there were so many things going against us. But Peter and Derek and his team were absolutely amazing! Not only did Peter do a fantastic job staying on top of every aspect of the project from start to absolute finish, but Derek and his team worked around the clock to finish the flooring for the painter and other trades to start so that my client would be able to move into her home with brand new beautiful floors on time.
