Fridge

Transglobal is the worst. They are on contract with Sears which is the worst of the worst. Bottom line - never buy anything from Sears. The Warranty will expire before the first year. Getting my fridge repaired has been a 6 mo process and it's still not fixed after 4 service calls. Very rude on the phone too

Dishwasher Repair

This company is absolutely horrible. They call the day of the appt to give me the 3 hour window. They came looked at my dishwasher and supposedly ordered a part. They called the next day to say we could schedule an appt. for the replacement part. I did this and when I didn't hear they said no appt had been booked. So they rebooked for two days later again. Well, I just got the call from the technician who said no part had been ordered and he was coming to diagnose (again) the problem. It was an unbelievable waste of time and the company has absolutely dreadful customer service.

washer service

WORST WORST SERVICE EVER. My washer from the Brick is only 2 years old. Purchased extended warranty and been calling trying to get the machine to work properly since it was a year old. They give you the run around. I am on my 7th service call with no resolution. Technician never showed up or called yesterday. I have complained to Samsung, the brick and still getting the run around. DON"T use them!

Leons Warranty Service on Fridge

This company has provided horrible service to me! Transglobal is supposed to repair my fridge because the warranty service from Leons, where I bought my fridge is outsourced to them. My fridge is broken and they said it would take 5 days to see it. 5 days later they called to say they are not coming and just need to order a part. Over 2 weeks later, I still have no resolution to this!

Washing machine

WORST COMPANY EVER!!!
This company needs to be reported to the BBB!
I have been in touch with 'Supervisors' in the call center on the other side of the world, and like all of you...HOURS on hold.
Washer stopped while draining and door locked. Tech made it out 2 weeks later AFTER being told I must possess on me a bill of sale the morning he was suppose to come...I am a tenant and why didnt the Co. tell the owner of the house this while she made the appt? Of course it took another week to reschedule this (only to find out they had it the entire time and it was an 'oversight') When tech left I was informed he needed 2 parts and would most likely be in the following week (3wks later now) I found out that he ordered 7 parts (WTH????) and there is one part still missing and apparently I was told by a supervisor that it has to come from Germany....I was so livid at this point I politely hung up the phone, I am a professional individual but I can not conduct myself professionally anymore with this company!! We bought our very expensive washer/dryer combo from Sears. These major companies should start noting that their names are going down the drain as well...

Repair of Washer

The worst people to deal with Would work at their convenience and not their customer's. Charge to come and identify the problem. Charge again to come and fix the problem. After they left, we tried the washer and had the same problem. Called and were told the file has been closed and they will have to issue a new work order and we have to pay all over again. After much argument, they sent a repair guy who said the problem is very significant and it will cost $600 to fix it. Suggested we trash the washer and get a new one. In the meantime, we are out of our $400.00. Worst company to deal with.

samsung fridge

My fridge is less than 3 months old. I have read many of the reviews posted on this site and have had very similar problems to many of the complaints. I have now given up on my Samsung warranty and have engaged a technician on my own dime. question to this group. Has anyone ever visited their location which seems to be 11411 - 170 street right here in Edmonton. Every time I have called I had always presumed a call center far away. I am very lucky I did not purchase an extended warranty, but my assumption that the manufactory warranty would be good, was an entirely wrong assumption.

$3,000.00
What could this company do to improve their services?
This company is the worst company I have ever had interactions with. It needs to be shut down.
Any advice to offer fellow homeowners facing a similar project?
As about the manufactory warranty when you buy an appliance. If it is handled by 'global services', run. Run fast.

Washer

This company is a joke! Our washer quit on Apr 1st. Called and was on hold for over an hour. I was told that there is a shortage of service techs in Alberta. And they scheduled an appointment for April 25th! I believe their web site says next day service. Tech said he had to order a part and it would take a week. They called May 3rd to schedule appointment for May 8th. That is over a month! I will never ever ever purchase an extended warranty from this company. Don't know how they are still in business.!!!

LG range

Purchased a LG range model LSB5682 in Dec. 2009 from The Brick with a 5 year extended warranty within that period I had 5 service calls 4 of 5 service calls have been for the control panel stops working. Trans Global comes in and replaces panel and we are fine for a little while. It's gotten to the point where the tech comes in and does not touch the range he just orders the part. Spoke with LG recall department they told me it's not normal and they can't do anything about it.
Trans Global only does temporary fixes instead of looking at what breaks down the panel unless they know something I don't which brings me to the lemon policy it's only good for the first 3 years. If a knew this after the first repair I could have bought a new range with the money I have spent feeding my family at restaurants every time it breaks down because I have to wait for the part 3 to 4 weeks.
So I guess it's another temporary fix till my warranty runs out because Trans Global will not replace it.
Thumbs down to The Brick which is Trans Global and LG for letting such companies service there products.
