Canadian Tire has everything you need... one stop shopping for all your painting supplies! I have shopped at many stores and wasted alot of time driving around to find everything I need! Not anymore, straight to Canadian Tire from now on!

Went to the Dundas store and found that everything that was on sale was avaiable. Also, their website is amazing in that it tells you beforehand if they have inventory. Because of this, I am purchasing more and more from Canadian Tire.

Twice in one month this location failed to properly de-activate a security device on an item I had bought causing the detection device to sound and BOTH times I was made to feel guilty, being scrutinized as a shoplifter when I had told them it had to have been the security device. Both times I was vindicated but in neither case did they apologize or make any effort to address the error. Calls to the store manager went unanswered.

Now I drive the extra 5 minutes to the South Whitby location.

I bought a new light fixture from Canadian Tire on Yonge. Also had it delivered. While their price was average, I was impressed with their ability to deliver and install the light fixture in a professional manner. No damage to the home and the men were very polite in the house. There was also no hidden charges. Overall, a satisfied customer.

When I entered Canadian Tire, the sales staff were helpful and product knowledgeable. It was an easy process to buy my blender. I did encounter a little problem as the blender stopped working and I had to return it and there were no problems at all with the exchange policy.

I bought two of them and they were both very flimsey. They cracked as they were being constructed. I didn't even bother returning the product. The lesson I learned here was that I would have bought them pre-constructed. It would saved time and they wouldn't have broke so easily.

Had a pleasant experience at Canadian Tire while trying to purchase lighting for livingroom and dining room. Helpful staff located sale items from the warehouse that were no longer on the floor. In addition, pointed out additional items that were on sale, saving significant dollars.

I had the best customer service experience at Canadian Tire while shopping for a Christmas gift the other day. I was looking for a very specific item, and had not been able to find it anywhere else. When I asked at other places, I was dismissed with a 'we don't have that'. But at Canadian Tire, when I asked, the floor staff member looked up the item on the computer, helped me scour the shelves in the aisle that is was supposed to be in, and - when we couldn't find it - went upstairs to search the warehouse. After about 10 minutes, when I had given up hope, he returned carrying the exact item that I had requested - he was extremely friendly, said it was no trouble at all, and wished me the best of luck with the rest of my holiday shopping. I was thrilled!

My brother and I are finishing his basement so I need a few powerdrills to help complete the job. We went to Canadian Tire and to find a sales person was impossible. I have to admit it was busy but we also waited a long time to find someone. Once the salesperson came he really didn't know much about the merchandise. To the best of our ability we bought what my brother and I thought was a good drill. Next time I will do some more research before I go and buy something from there first.

I'll start by saying that I generally really like Canadian Tire. But an experience there recently might make me wary of purchases there in the future - I had bought a treadmill and assembled it at home, only to find that it was very noisy, so I decided to return it. Even though I was returning it the day after I had bought it, I was treated a bit 'suspiciously', in that the salesman said that it looked like I had 'used' the treadmill because it was obviously re-packaged. I told him I had assembled it (so taken it all out of the box) and then dis-assembled it and tried to pack it as close to the same as it came as I could. When he called the manager, I didn't receive much better customer service. I pointed out that it had just been purchased the day before, and eventually they took it back and I got my money back. I will continue to shop at Canadian Tire, but will try to avoid returning things there in the future (so will have to be SURE I want something when I buy it there).
