debbie travis dining table

debbie travis dining table. For $49 dollars this was hard to beat, the table has solid legs and a solid table top. so far they are handling abuse from dropped items and it seems to be holding up very well

Telephone Jack Covers / DSL filters for living room reno

Many Canadian Tires are like this one. I went in to buy DSL filters and telephone jack covers for a renovation my wife and I were doing on our new place. I asked the first employee we saw where I could find these items and he acted like he was half asleep and guessed where we could find them. I knew then he was going to be no help and wondered who had trained him.
I then saw a Customer Help area where a lady was very friendly and helpful and she told me the exact area where these items were located.
Most of the time I go to Canadian Tire I am conflicted - great variety of items for sale but mixed customer service.

DVD player

I bought a cheap DVD player from CT ... probably the cheapest one they carry. Unfortunately, it was defective and I have to bring it back the next day. You can tell from the CSR that she is sincerely apologizing for the inconvenience that has brought me while i don't think this is her or CT's fault. At most, it's the manufacturer's fault. I am impressed by their service!

Dimmable CFL Light Bulb

After seeing that Canadian Tire was having a sale on Dimmable CFL Lightbulbs, I went to my local store to purchase one. As this was the first day of the sale, I thought my chances were good of getting one. However, they were sold out so I received a rain check. About two weeks later, I received a voice message letting me know that my rain check was available to pick up. Surprisingly, after getting to the store, I was informed that they were sold out again and that rain checks were more-or-less a "first come/first served" deal - if they received six lightbulbs and twelve people were on the rain check list, then they called all twelve and the first six to show up got the bulbs. Obviously, that has never been how I understood the typical rain check policy and I told them so. However, I once again left the store empty-handed. Interestingly, about three weeks after that, I happened to be in the store for something else. On a whim, I looked to see if any Dimmable CFLs were in stock - one bulb was on the rack. I grabbed it and took it to Customer Service, asking why I was not informed that any had come in. Not surprisingly, I did not receive a satisfactory answer. They did honour my rain check however - after informing me that their rain check policy actually was not "first come/first served" and that I had been misinformed. Finally, to top everything off, almost two months after I initially went in to buy the bulb, I received another phone call to inform me that my rain check item was in stock - even though I had already redeemed my rain check slip and picked up my item.

I have difficulty in finding concrete screws for my church pews. These screws are fat and short and they are not available in Home Depot or Rona. I tried my luck and I was happy to have found the right size at Canadian Tire

painting interior

This company has debbie travis sample paints and I was able to try the colour first - my last painting fiasco - i picked the colour - bought it- went home had my husband paint the bathroom and the colour changed next to the tiles in the bathroom - looked purple instead of grey. So i used debbbie travis sample paints and then there was no guessing
