Disaster! Home quality is very poor. Time frame to build is over one year and cost is FAR too high for the product delivered. They use the cheapest contractors in the business. Do not follow codes and their inspectors pass poor work.

Builder will do what they require to make the sale, but not fulfill any agreements once paperwork is signed. Terrible service at all levels from that point forward. Regret building with Coventry Homes. Do not recommend - not worth the grief when you are spending that kind of money.

Coventry Homes in Edmonton, Alberta (NOT Coventry Homes in the USA) built my home last year. The workmanship was fantastic, the service was great. It's my third new built home and certainly the best builder I've worked with. It is a nightmare. I hate my decision to do business with Coventry Homes. And I will never purchase homes from this company again. Horrible experience. Will never recommend this company to anyone.

STAY CLEAR OF COVENTRY HOMES!!!!!! I purchased a new home from them and it has been a nightmare! Many of the issues are hidden behind walls or underground. I have a sewer line sag that is 30' long(improperly installed and will cost $20,000 to fix or I have to snake my line every year to keep it clean), mold in main bathroom(improper installation of shower faucet cover which slowly let water drop onto the ceiling below) and missing vapor barrier. these are the worst issues that I'm bringing to everyone's attention. Contacted owner, warranty manger and numerous people at Coventry with no help. They told me that I needed to find this in the first year and therefore it is not covered by warranty. These things were installed incorrectly from day one therefore should be covered.I could write a book about all the things I found in my house that were incorrect the do not meet code. Very disappointed in how this all turned out. Very unprofessional. Not recommended.

sales service was terrible from the WINDERMERE Langdale division...NEVER BOTHERED to reply e-mail after 5% down was paid...always had to physically drop in to get answers...worst of all she shrugged off the fact she was supposed to write $1000 cheque out of her commission to keep us on the deal to make the house purchase...the head office backed up the employee, as expected, not wanting to do ANYTHING that would cost them A SINGLE PENNY...what a caliber of service coming from a "reputable" building company...their words are GOOD FOR NOTHING so bring in a recorder to record every single conversation you'll ever have with them

We recently built a house with Coventry, and we couldn't be happier with our new house. It is exactly what we envisioned when we started thinking about building, and Coventry made our dream come true. The attention to detail, and the amount of standard features that comes with Coventry compared other builders was astonishing. Their staff were very helpful when it came to interior choices, and didn't mind giving us a few recommendations of their own. What little deficiencies we did find, were fixed before we even moved in! Thank you Coventry for a great house building experience!

Overall satisfied with our home. Seemed to be quality materials used. The only concerns I had were in selecting our counter tops and carpet. I signed for the house in summer of 2009. We wanted to make changes in the carpet and counter tops in February 2010 and they would not allow us to. They told us our house would be ready in the summer of 2010 and it was not ready until Oct 2010. So just be aware of the products and options you pick and make sure they are what you really want because if you change your mind, they are not accommodating. Also, expect that the house will be ready to move in later than what they estimate.

they did an excellent job with the construction and finishing. The staff were friendly and professional. They were great with the future follow up care. They also have a really good warrantee. They use use quality products in the homes. They are easy to work with. I am very happy with my home!
