The roofing job by Exterior by Design was fantastic . The shingles used were excellent quality quality and color. The roofers did a professional quality job in less than a day. The sight was cleaned up to perfection. Would recommend to anybody that needs a roofing job.

We had no idea how we wanted to redo the outside of our house and we went looking for some quotes. Stucco was not on our radar but we had seen some work done around the neighborhood that really impressed us. We decided on the stucco and do not regret our decision. Right from the start the customer service, friendliness, quality of work was 2nd to none. Our work was done from January-March so we didn't notice the energy efficiency until the heat of the summer. Our AC unit is not on as often as prior years and the temperature in the house is within a few degrees from the basement to 3rd floor. We are very happy with the work done and would recommend "Exterior by Design" to anyone wanting to change the appearance to their house.

I had the exterior brick look of my home completely redone with stucco, new trim, new soffit and fascia, stone accent and flagstone steps laid. We also had the storm door facade with curved brick arch removed to open up the front area.

I have been involved with many renovations over the years and honestly can say this is the only one that came out exactly how I pictured it. I bought an old home in 2019 and realized there was very little insulation in the exterior walls causing a tremendous amount of heat loss. Decided best route was to install exterior insulation and then stucco over what was a brick home.

I had a number of companies come in to provide quotes and opinions. Quickly gained confidence that David and William at Exterior By Design was the team to trust to do the job properly, provide good design advice and very fair pricing. In fact, I was a bit hesitant because it almost sounded too good to be true. Glad I was wrong. They lived up to all their promises.

The job started a few weeks late but was otherwise executed on time. The team was clean, took pride in their work, paid attention to details, and worked efficiently.

I was worried about stucco making the house look less appealing than before but it did the opposite. It looks better than before and is also much warmer! David and William provided great design advice and took a tremendous amount of pride in their work. They also stood by their work after the project was done to address a minor issues that came up a year later.

I wanted to thank David and his team for doing an excellent job replacing the vinyle siding with stucco and also replacing all the aluminium eavestrough, window frames of my house. They are all very professional and experienced and they finished the job on time.I highly recommend them.

We hired Exterior by Design for a large scale renovation to our complete home exterior last fall. The work we hired them to do was to replace all of our windows and doors, build an all new large covered deck in the back, install beautiful big Douglas fir posts in the front, install a new shingle roof, install stucco and stone veneer to the complete outside of the house, all new exterior lighting fixtures and potlights, install approximately 1000 square feet of interlocking patio stone, 3 new garage doors, and all new soffits and eavestroughs. We could not have asked for better contractors. From the carpentry, stucco, stone, and window crews to the finishing details like caulking and paint, the crews were professional, courteous, and respectful of our property every time. Pricing was reasonable, and although not the cheapest, we know we got what we paid for and would strongly recommend anyone looking for an exterior renovation to consider this company. Management, timing, and cleanup were taken care of well and we absolutely love the new way our boring old house looks now! It was much warmer all winter with all the new insulation around the house, our furnace kicked in much less often.

If I had known what a difference stucco would have made to my home, I would have done this years ago. David was very thorough in his description of the process. Everything was done exactly to his specifications. Everyone involved was polite and professional. I will be using this company in the future to do my stonework. Got Stucco done on second story and stone facing on front, aluminum all around, they resloped the terrace and did a bulkhead around the terrace. Everybody did a great job from the carpenter, stucco guys, stone guys, electrician, aluminum guys. We are really pleased with the result. It was a big job involving a lot of people and everybody took pride in their work.
