We had a pipe burst after the ice storm. Not the first time, but the first time we called Shawn. Shawn was the first plumber to take us through all the options from renos to band-aid solutions to somewhere in between. We chose the latter though he would have helped us either way. Kind, caring, genuine guy - worked with our budget and brought us water.

We had a blocked kitchen sink that would not unclog no matter what we tried, including a 20 foot snake / auger. Shawn came to our door and was nothing but courteous, polite and respectful. He also has a great sense of humour. On top of that and most importantly, Shawn is an expert when it comes to plumbing. He had our drain cleared quickly. It's not the cheapest service around but not only did he do a very thorough job, he educated us on many plumbing things we didn't know, as well. I would highly recommend Shawn and Mr. Rooter to anyone.

Our water stopped running suddenly in the middle of the night. We have 5mo twins at home so it was imperative that we got it up and running immediately. We phoned Mr Rooter the following morning, they said they could be there around noon and they arrived well before that time. Very professional, both a long time employee and a newer trainee arrived. Wore booties over their boots to keep our floors clean. Had the job done in no time, explained everything to me as they were doing it which was very comforting. When they were done the area was clean and they were very professional when dealing with the bill. This is not the first time we have used this company and it certainly won't be the last!

Having never previously hired a plumber, we were not sure what to expect. However, we were very pleased with the service provided by Shaun Cunningham of Mr. Rooter Plumbing. Shaun was punctual, very courteous and informed us in detail about the costs up front. He resolved our blocked drain problem in short order and to our complete satisfaction! I would have no hesitation to recommend him to our friends or to utilize his services again in the future.

Upon recently moving into our house, we noticed the water pressure was very low. From the start of our service call, Shaun did an exceptional job of discovering the kink in our pipe and replaced it in a prompt and courteous manner. The morning showers have gone from a trickle to a blast of water now!

House pressure pump (internal pump from reservoir) stopped functioning. The pump there was an emergency drop in, but wasn't sized correctly and stopped functioning when a check valve seized. Mr. Rooter was called in, Shaun was our guy, and he quoted out a replacement set up with continuous pressure (being able to flush when taking a shower is a luxury in the country). In the short term, because the pump needed to be ordered, he figured out a clever bypass for the main well pump using a laundry hose. This gave us a reasonable, albeit low pressure, water supply for the 4 days we had to wait.

Once the pump arrived, Shaun came in and, between us, we cooked up a clever scheme to block the tank opening with a rubber ball. This removed the need to drain the well reservoir and Shaun quickly put in a new shutoff. After that it was smooth sailing with the installation and we now have a glorious 65 PSI of pressure to the house.

The final piece of the equation was a drain valve on the well line was dripping. Rather than leave, Shaun quickly replaced the valve after drawing off the water. He could have left, he didn't, and I appreciated that.

All I can say is the service was excellent and the sheer cleverness and ingenuity of Shaun's ideas saved us enormous hassels. I would absolutely, and without hesitation, recommend this service.

Had a urgent plumbing issue and we called Shawn from the yellow pages,it was done quickly and efficiently so we hired Shawn to help us with a major basement leak that entailed much labour. Again job was done quickly and efficiently and beyond. Thanks Shawn we will be in touch for any other work needed.

I hired Mr. Rooter - Caledon to come out to supply and install a water softener and a water purification system for us. We were very pleased with the company and their service. They were pleasant, knowledgable and provided professional service in a timely manner. They offered me the best warranty for my project and have stood by it.
