Assiniboine Lawns & Landscapes

We chose Assiniboine because our experience with the estimator Brandon was good, but found that communication from the PM was lacking. I've already contacted customer service and they suggested a way to fix the issue.

They were beyond professional. They listened and found a way to deliver my ideas within my budget. Their workmanship was excellent and they found their own flaws and fixed them. They always left the site clean and tidy at the end of their shift. If more work need to be done they will be the first ones I call without a second thought.

My project was a bit delayed to start, but when they began the work you could immediately tell they were organized and efficient enough to get the job done right. Kris and his team took our little dirt patch (on a zero-lot line property) and created a beautiful, well designed outdoor living space that was better than we could have expected. They completed my fence, front lawn sod, paving stone patio and additional gravel/mulch edges all within an impressive timeframe. The quality of their work was to be admired and has already received lots of high praise from friends and family. Thank you Kris and the team at Assiniboine for the great work.

I have had problems with this retaining wall ever since it was installed 20 years ago. Asssiniboine tore the wall down and reset putting in more drainage and replacing dirt with sand and stone to improve drainage. The company did such a good job the wall and overall landscaping is better than when it was originally installed. I am very pleased with the job and would be pleased to recommend Assiniboine for any landscaping needs. They know what they are doing

Assiniboine has provided yard maintenance services for our yard for the past 5-6 years including spring and fall cleanups. They have been reliable and have done good work, plus their crews are always friendly and responsive to requests.

Assiniboine completed paving stone patios, pathways, ironstone wall on one side of our acreage as well as an extension of our upper deck. All I can say is WOW!!! It is beautiful. My 3 year old now plays and rides her bike around on the paving stones and has fresh new grass to run through the sprinkler. The new design also eliminates the majority of the mosquitos. They suggested a spot for our trampoline with fabric and gravel below to create a maintenance free area and it is fantastic. Can't wait to get rest of the yard completed when the budget allows. I had my yard landscaped 3 years ago. I now have to have my deck rebuilt. They had no idea how to build a deck properly. They have even stored all the left over wood and soil and rocks under my deck. So frustrating. I can google how to build a deck better than Assiniboine. I would never recommend this company. Boards are falling off, the stairs are uneven. It's not waterproofed properly under the deck. A real NIGHTMARE.

We had them take out three areas of grass. One was made into a lovely patio seating area, another a rock based landscape with play equipment, and the other a dry river bed and meditation area. The fence was also redone as well as putting in a French drain under the river bed to reuse rain water off the roof. They also put in a trench and grate along the garage to correct a problem we had previously with water getting into the garage. Miguel, John, and Kris were very dedicated, hardworking and conscientious indivuals who listened to our concerns and needs. They brought the picture in our heads to life.

We were having serious problems with drainage in our side yard and back patio. Assiniboine assessed the issue then developed an effective and attractive solution which involved leveling and resurfacing the area, adding an attractive retaining wall and installing a paving stone pathway and patio. The project was well managed from our first consultation until completion. All of our questions were answered promptly and adjustments during the construction process were handled smoothly. The on-site crew were courteous and able to provide creative solutions to some of our long-standing challenges. We could not be happier with the results, and we highly recommend this company. They are professional, proficient, experienced and competent. We are 100% satisfied that our money was well spent by engaging this company.

Workers we on time every morning and worked steady all day. They stayed on their schedule and finished the day they had forecast (even though we had a little weather causing some issues). We are pleased with the final product and the clean-up of the yard and driveway. There quote was not the cheapest nor was it the most expensive. The professionalism of the person that quoted us was the tipping point. He was knowledgeable and did not promise the world. He was honest with the issues we would face and the challenges of the job (unlike others that played the work down). He did not hold any punches and was right on the mark with the estimate and the challenges.

We would not hesitate hiring them again.
