I ordered 2 beds from Sears. The delivery guys ran the doorbell once and were leaving. We have a big house so it takes a moment to get the door. When i slept in my bed the one night I woke up incredibly sore. I called to have them taken back and it took half a day and about a dozen calls back and fourth to have them exchanged. The new beds were to be delivered today, my only day off this week. I waited around all day then at 6 called and asked why my delivery never came. The women i dealt with set my delivery for tomorrow ,when I'm not home instead of today as we discussed 2 weeks ago. I explained this to the customer service and all she can say is there's nothing I can do, it'll have to come tomorrow. I'll never buy from Sears again.

Sears after sales, Everlast Treadmil, Dyaco after sales service

Very Bad experience, brought a EV801 Everlast Treadmill from Sears On line. ( NEVER DO IT)

On the very first use after we installed the machine made noises from all over, though I had a service plan with Sears they asked me to contact the distributor Dyaco who sent someone within a day, same problem after 2 days, called Dyaco who are refusing to provide a service call number or let me know when they can send some to repair it once more. Said it may take over a month to repair the machine?

Called Sears for a replacement/Refund, they cannot and have to wait for Dyaco to send them an exchange template.

So all the statement made on Sears Online about 90 days exchange is incorrect or MISLEADING.

If Dyaco/Sears does replace the treadmill it will be the same brand and model which I will definitely not be happy as per my bad experience with Dyaco and Everlast.
I had to talk to 12 support personnel at Sears and explain the same issue over and over again - 3 hours waste of my time, turned out to be more expensive than the machine.

Never buy a Everlast product or buy from Sears Online.

Reclining Chair

I ordered a reclining chair online, and was told that the chair I ordered would be substituted for my initial order as it was out of stock. The chair was almost identical with an identical regular price, and I was promised that upon time of pick up I would be refunded the $320.00 for the price difference. Sears ABSOLUTELY REFUSED to honor their promise. I spoke with Mark the senior sales representative and all I got from him was "you can speak with customer service if you want, but they will only tell you what I just told you." I am extremely disappointed as I expected more from Sears..I get better customer service at Walmart.

Mattress, shoes

I ordered a mattress and with confirmation that it would be in, I renter a truck. Well I got there and no mattress. Had to rent another truck a few days later. We load the mattress and it's not what we ordered. I double check the order and yep. Not the same. The only offer they have us was to credit us the amount of the mattress towards one of the show room ones. (Which are all an additional 500 min)

I also just ordered shoes/ Christmas goods. Apparently they charged me twice after speaking with someone who "fixed it" ...called back the next day and now they tell me. "Actually the order was processed. No one fixed it"

NEVER GO TO SEARS!!!!! Never buy from sears!!!!!! DONT SUPPORT A COMPANY THAT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. I have never made a public complaint in my life! So no- not one of those people. Sears just sucks.

Refrigerator

Ordered a fridge online and spoke with a customer service rep, friendly and helpful. The delivery people were very polite and extremely helpful, they had to remove front door to get the fridge in. Fridge was going into our basement and it was very tight quarters moving it downstairs, they did it,took them a while. I was very impressed with their professionalism and hard work.

DAY BED

I call what I thought was a LONDON, ONTARIO store to order a Day Bed. (Nov. 28th/14) On line site not working. I get this guy JOE on the phone... still thinking he is HERE in MY city where I LIVE!! We had problems with my card.... He tried accusing ME of NOT giving him the right card number... after 3 attempts by HIM it finally takes.... THEN we go over MY name and address AGAIN, MY order Day Bed with Delivery and installation and set it for Thursday Dec. 4/14. between 12pm and 6pm time. Now I TOLD Joe I was physically disabled and needed this bed delivered and installed and once again we go OVER my name address, and delivery day/time. So I hang up. So on Thursday I get delivery... The guy was RUDE, walked into my home with dirty shoes on and "drops" the long flat box onto the floor and the iron spring frame on TOP of the box. He asked me to sign a paper and I said, well when you assemble it. He LAUGHS at me and says who the hell told you that... more laughing and demands I sign his paper saying they did NOT damage my home and I got my product. Well I then immediately call the LONDON STORE phone number.... when I tried to explain my circumstance and why I wasn't having the "installation/assembly" done, the girl hung up on me. I call back.... explain, again, get passed to another person, who was WRONG department and he passes me to somebody else who asks how she can help, go through all the stuff again and she puts me on hold and boom, disconnected. This went on for 8 hours and NO I am not joking. LAST person I spoke to TOLD me it would be rectified.... he understood and he would send somebody out to assemble my day bed. 1 pm Friday I spoke to a MYAH (thought was speaking to somebody in MY city!!) SHE TOLD me the "assembly" men would be at MY home on Saturday (TODAY) between 8 am and 2pm to put my sofa bed together. I am like don't ya mean DAY BED?? She says yes excuse me day bed be done your home tomorrow. THEN at around 3:08 pm Friday Dec 5th a message is left on my answering machine (still there did not erase) stating man be in your home tomorrow between 8am and 1pm to put bed together and please be home. Well it is now SATURDAY and NO my Day Bed is NOT assembled. So AGAIN I call what I thought was the LONDON phone number and I get a HAROLD on the phone. After 20 min of talking to this guy, OMG, I find out he is in the PHILIPPINES!! How the hell did I get the Philippines when I CALLED the LONDON, ONTARIO store number!!! I was TOLD by HIM NO assembly order was in place for today and that they could NOT have any body out to MY home until Dec 12/14 ... I am physically disabled, told them this from day ONE... told them I need this done ASAP as was having major usury on knee and this needed to be set up by weekend. Needless to say surgery postponed... and I was so pissed......... I kept calling the LONDON phone number and kept pounding O * over and over to oust the automation. after 2 hours of doing this I FINALLY get to speak to a person (Manager) WHO WAS actually IN LONDON ONTARIO. After 15 min of talking to him....... my Day Bed will be assembled for me tomorrow (SUNDAY) 9:30 am. Harold TOLD me I would be compensated ONCE the assembly was DONE by a GIFT CARD to SEARS. Well I don't want a gift card, how about you credit MY Card back 50% of the cost for all the stress and BS caused and physical harm caused to me because MY "bed" was not assembled when promised it would be!!
I will NEVER shop at Sears again. When you call the "store" number, you are automatically rerouted to a call center in the Philippines and it does NOT matter where in Canada you are from. They tell you the "manager" is unavailable because the call center does NOT have a manager for SEARS, they only have a so called manager for the untrained unprofessional poorly English speaking "customer support" reps!!
SEARS Canada is NOT the same place of great product and service they had when my parents shopped there. They have totally gone DOWN hill and have NO services in Canada, it has ALL been outsourced!! Sad, very Sad. Disappointed and never ever going there again!!

Central Vacuum Attachment Set

I purchase a replacement attachment set for my central vacuum 11 months ago. It includes the power head, hose... The hose no longer works (won't make the contact to turn on the vacuum). I have an old hose so I know the system is working fine. I contacted sears online and they confirmed that the kits come with a 2 years parts and 1 year labour warranty. I then phoned sears to figure out the exchange/repair. I spent 5 minutes on the phone with the first person, transferred to someone else for 10 minutes, then I spent 25 minutes with the next person and seemed to be making progress, then all of a sudden a new person took over and didn't have any of the info from the first 3 people. Went through everything again. They are trying to tell me that a hose is like a vacuum bag and is something that is not covered. Complete BS. I had the warranty in writing from them. Their customer support system tries to frustrate you so that you will give up. In my case after 50 minutes on the phone something went wrong on their end and I got a busy system. No clue if that was intentional or just due to the fact that they are not located anywhere near Canada. I will never ever purchase another item from Sears. If you do purchase from Sears make sure it is something that you will never have to deal with a warranty on.

Conforter

I bought a comforter couple of months ago and decided to wash them just now cause I'm gonna have some guests over.
I followed the instructions on how to wash it and even doing everything properly the comforters shrank. They are horrible now.
As I called the customer service this morning at 9:50am 1(888)9321015, I was told by Sharmie (representative) that they couldn't do anything because the return policy is only 72 hours after the purchase.
IS THAT SO?
The store couldn't care less about a complaint???
Oh yes, once you buy and once you pay, they couldn't care less about the customer's satisfaction.
As long as my money is in their pockets, they're happy!
Simply unfortunate.
Disgusted by Sears service.

missing item

Have contacted the 1-800 number 6 times, which is based in the Philippines about my missing item. After several attempts have asked fort a credit..this has been 2 months now and no credit. VERY FRUSTRATING.

Sears Dishwasher

I purchased 6 new appliances from Sears for my new home and paid extra to extend the warranty to 5 year coverage - all in I spent almost $10G. Just a year later, I had to call Sears Service as my dishwasher was leaking - that was in August of 2014. Today is November 13, 2014 - 3 month's later and dishwasher still not working - they've been out to the house 4 times already and keep ordering parts but still not fixed and no end in sight. Their service agents read to you from a script and while they say they will request a manager to call me back, no one ever does. My daughter tweeted the issue and Sears contacted her back immediately saying someone would call me the next day and guess what...no one called. I will never, never ever patronize Sears again.
