NEVER AGAIN!! First real snow fall which started Tuesday and waited all day Wednesday. Not even a single passing. I was embarrassed how all my neighbors with another company had had their driveways done twice to my ZERO. My car sat on the street overnight because I couldn't access my driveway.

I was with Syljack for many years, professional staff, great service, always did a great job. Unfortunately they stopped serving our area, we had dealings with deneigment lile Bizard, very expensive and poor service, the owner is very disrespectful. Thank you Syljack for coming back. Already signed and paid

Poor service. They clean several driveways on our street but the driver often omitted ours despite sticks in driveway. When you call to report that you were missed staff are rude. Other neighbours with other companies doing removal have their driveway cleared long before ours was cleared. Poor service overall.

We hired Syljack for snow removal for our previous house, which had a single driveway. We were not very satisfied with the company's service. They were always very late in removing the snow from our driveway. They did do a good job once they did arrive.

I'm so happy with Syljack, I switched from ricks last year after a few storms when they didn't even clean my driveway.
Slack on the other hand even rings my doorbell when possible to ask us to move the cars, that is above and beyond what I expect from a snow removal service, I'm sure they can't do that in the middle of a big storm but its the day after and I'm so happy the dude took the time to ring my bell!

Syljack took over from Dana (who closed at the end of last year). Up until now, they did a pretty good job. Today, March 19th, there is about a foot of heavy wet snow in my driveway with a ridge of 2' of hard packed snow at the end of the driveway and they have yet to pass. I can't get out of my house until the driveway is cleared. Not a happy camper !!!

I have been a faithful client of Syljack for quite a few years. However, this year, service is non-existant.

Last year, the driver would honk or ring the bell so that I could move my car. He did a good job keeping my driveway clean of snow. Of course, driver did clip the side of my garage cracking the bricks and did clip paver also. I let that pass as an unintentional accident.

This year, snow has not been removed in a timely fashion. When the driver does come, usually in the dead of night, he doesn't bother to honk or ring the doorbell. As a result, he passes the bucket once in front of my car. Snow further back and on on both sides is not cleared.

During the first big storm, the city had passed and completely blocked me in. The driver passed, gave a quick swipe in front of my car and took off down the street like a bat out of hell even though I went outside and was desperately waving at him. He never came back.

When I called the office, the woman who spoke to me was extremely loud, agressive and rude, chastising me and saying I had to understand that it was a big storm and that many people were without electricity! What Hydro power outs had to do with snow removal, I have no idea.

I managed to get my car off the driveway and parked it on the street and waited to no avail for the return of the driver. As a result my car stayed on the street overnight and I got a parking ticket. The next day, I paid the Grizzly driver to clean my driveway.

Every single day for the past 2 weeks, I was away from my residence in order to drive my brother to Maisonneuve Hospital for his radiation treatments as he has Stage 4 cancer. The absence of my car in the driveway afforded Slyjack every opportunity to clean up.

My driveway is pitiful. There is snow on either side leaving me only a narrow pathway to rear park my car close to the garage door. There is also a big clump of accumulated snow and ice at the entrance of the driveway.

This morning, I called their office at 8:30 and again at around 11:30. Each time, it's voicemail. I left messages. No one has bothered to return my calls. I have emailed and faxed them a Letter of Demand along with photos giving them until 11 p.m. to clean. They have my money so I'm between a rock and a hard place!
Will certainly find another company next year!

Because of the clump of accumulated snow at the entrance of my driveway, which caused a big pool of water that is now frozen stiff, the first 2 to 3 feet of driveway is a solid thick sheet of ice all the way across, some 5inches deep at the beginning of the driveway and tapering off to 2 to 3 inches.

They WILL NOT REMOVE YOUR SNOW, EVER! You have to call them to remove the snow, otherwise they do not show up. Everyone else has their snow removed except you. They will damage your gutters, they will be off somewhere drinking a Tim's and laughing at you. They will not answer their phones when you call to complain and they will not return your emails. BUT THEY WILL CASH YOUR CHEQUE FOR SURE!

Syljack did not even clean our driveway the past Friday following a snow storm. We parked on thestreet all day to make the driveway accessible. Nor did they all weekend. Finally they cleared the end of our driveway early this morning and never came back. I called twice today and each time te lady said she was "dispatching" someone. Little did I know that the employee showed up knocking at my door with his own regular car and no work identification to lecture me about puttin my car on the street in French after I said I was not very fluent. I called and left a message asking them if this is standard employee practice. Also, after all that he told me that no one was going to come and clear it.

We have been with Syljack for several years and paid for the snow removal in full BUT they NEVER come to clean the driveway. We called and left numerous message NOT 1 REPLY I spoke to a Stephanie 1 time and emailed her pictures of the uncleaned driveway and asked them to come and clean it NOT 1 RESPONSE. I had to shovel it several times . I asked for a refund if they couldn't do the job still no replies. There are other houses on the street not as many as last year but they are all done. I actually saw the driver go right by my house and tried to flag him down but no way. SYLJACK is the worst I have ever experience AWFUL ! and the customer service is NIL!
