Colour Works won hands down on the quote, provided the best solutions and delivered a great job. They did impressive work on some old lath and plaster. No more painting for me now I know Dee!

We have a character home (translation: it's a classic, +100 year old, Bloor West Village cozy abode). Although it has been well loved and cared for, it still needed some freshening up. I quoted 3 different painting companies and even though ColourWorks wasn't the lowest price, it certainly was the best choice in terms of customer service, attention to detail, brainstorming & problem solving -- not to mention the overall high quality of the end product. I used Homestars to find painters that could give me an estimate on this workplace whiteboard wall that we wanted. Dee responded quickly, was very professional (I especially liked the electronic contract) and followed up on the work done. He was also willing to research the project that I was interested in as it was not straightforward at first. The painter who did the work was polite, friendly and did a great job! After seven years and 2 kids, my wife and I decided it was time to get rid of the builders paint and add a splash of color on our main floor. With an open concept house, it is difficult to figure out what works best, where to stop one colour and start another, to say the least, we were overwhelmed. We decided it was best to speak to a pro. After a couple of calls and no one standing out as a front-runner we found Colourworks Painting through Homestars. After reading the glowing reviews, I gave Dee a call.

3 Days later, Dee was at my house. We spoke to him about our budget and scale, and he spent literally 2 hours at our house looking at every possible scenario and every colour on the wheel. Not only did Dee give us advise for the the current project, but he outlined the big picture for us. He presented us a quote that was within our budget, and we agreed Dee was our guy!

5 Days later, all the work was done. Chair rail, accent wall, repairs, everything. The knowledge and skill of the painter was evident, and the attention to detail was remarkable. Friendly, approachable, PUNCTUAL ( a rarity amongst many trades), this service is easily amongst our tops in recommendations. Dee and his staff are true professionals in every sense of the word.
