Jager Homes Inc

As other people have stated, Jager is fine to deal with during the negotiation phase of the build, but once they receive your money you are on your own and at the mercy of their schedules and time frames; we bought our property in the summer of 2012 and moved into our home in April 2014 (our sales agreement said we would take possession in September 2013). Their workmanship is of very poor quality and their service is abysmal. We have been in our home for over 15 months and still have a long list of deficiencies that require attention, e.g., walls not straight, doors do not shut properly, pilings and pillars not properly lined up and secured, etc. On top of other issues our lot has not received its second grading and as such, we still do not have a lawn or garden to enjoy. Whether these issues will be addressed is anyone's guess. Our complaints and inquiries have fallen on the deaf and/or uncaring ears of Paulina. I would suggest that you do not build with this outfit.

I agree with the other person about Jager , we have had nothing but problems and false information from them. I am going to arbitration against them. Customer service is bad. They change there products without telling you. Paulina is useless and the rest in the office and out. I would highly stay away. foxmoth2014@gmail.com if you want more information.

I can only say that Ziad tried his best to get us our house on time. Mother nature and other events conspired against us. However, we do have a home we love.

Signed a deal with Jager Homes back in August 2013. Long storey short, they still haven't broke ground as of this day Jan 16/2014! The service was good during negotiations, but completely changed after they received my very large deposit. Their production manager Paulina is by far the most incompetent person I have ever dealt with. Stay very far away from this builder

Built two homes with Jager, both required us to be on them constantly to make sure they didnt constantly take shortcuts. In one of our homes, six months we found out that part of the house hadnt been insulated. They also hadnt properly sealed an area, which then had mold. After constantly complaining, they did send someone to fix the mold issues. We tried to take it up with New Home Warranty but it didnt seem to do anything. We often joke that we should bring Mike Holmes into our house, because he would absolutely tear it apart. Not at all impressed with the customer service, product, quality or followup of this company.

We built a home with Jager back in 2004. Possession data was in Sep. 2006. Our house was left unfinished and possession while payment was demanded or we would have run the chance of losing our home. After possession, Alberta New Home warranty ended completing our home. This took an additional year. Trust me on this. I'm building a house with Jager at the moment and they are the WORST company in the world to build with! I would avoid them at all costs. You get good service at first when you initially sign up, then the quality of the service along with the quality of the build will significantly decline. Avoid signing up with them - no matter how attractive they make the deal as they make it up in hidden charges and fees after, they are con artists and will not give you your moneys worth.

Purchased a new semi-detached home from Jager in 2004. There was a series of problems starting with windows being put on backwards, no insulation in some of the outside walls, garage leaked, improper installation of doors. These deficiencied took approximately 5 years and numerous phone calls until they were finally completed.

I would not build another home with this company.
