Excellent experience

I had an excellent experience with Centennial moving during my move from Edmonton to Toronto. The amount of care the movers demonstrated with meticulously packing and loading my valuables onto the moving trucks is commendable. I am blown away and will employ their service again for sure.

Moving to Ontario was something Ive always wanted to do, and when I needed to make this move, I called Centennial Moving. Centennial moved everything I owned with no trouble, and they even took my car inside one of their trucks once I had relocated!

Stress off

I had to get to Ontario from Manitoba, and that meant a fast move. Thankfully, when it came to getting the bigger pieces of furniture into the truck, Centennial moving was one of the first calls I made. They made the move so much easier, and really took the stress off!

Treat your movers better!

Move from Toronto to Vancouver.
- I paid extra 1k for packing service, but the packing was not done very professionally (for which I do NOT blame the crew because they were overworked and exausted). The packing crew IS the moving crew (3 people in total) and they ended up working from 9am to 9pm on the moving day!
- THE BIGGEST problem I have with the moving company is that they sent insufficient crew members everytime! I told them and sent them pictures of how many things I have to pack and move, they sent 3 people to us in Toronto and only 2 people in Vancouver for moving funiture and nearly 100 boxes into a 3-story townhouse! Those 2 poor men were exausted! they didn't have enough time to rest, and there's no extra crew to help them or move heavy things in turns. We ended up telling them to put all our boxes in the living room and we had to do a lot of moving ourselves.
- No in-person estimation, I submitted my inventories and the actual price is a lot higher than my quote (which I accepted but it would be a lot better if there's in-person estimation before the quote).

To be fair, customer service Nicholas is fine and all the moving crew are helpful and nice people.
BUT Overall, will not recommend to anyone or use the company again because I don't think they treat their employees well. All the crew members are Ukrainians recently arrived in Canada, they deserve to be treated better :(

Company Response

Dear Joan,

We are sorry to hear that you had a less than excellent experience with us. We could not find any concerns that you mentioned here communicated to us on either the pick up day or delivery day. Full packing and loading may take extra time depending on how many loose items need to be packed and it is normally a full day job. You had more than 150 items. If you feel that an in-person estimate would be more beneficial, we are certainly taking this feedback very seriously and will implement it in the future. As far as the delivery is concerned, it was done in 3 hours and 47 minutes which is quite remarkable for this size of the load. Please note that the number of people involved in pick up and drop off was discussed with you and approved by you. We are committed to our very hardworking moving crews and always treat them fairly. If you still have any concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us, so we address them promptly.

According to plan

Centennial Moving provided exceptional service for my long-distance move from Vancouver to Toronto. I couldn't have done this move without them! They were efficient, friendly, and careful with my belongings. I would recommend them! I was nervous about everything going according to plan. But sure enough, they showed up on time and got the job done! I would use them again.

Moving from Toronto to St. Albert, AB

What I want to say about my experience with the Centennial Moving? It's the one word = excellent! From A to Z, Quote to Drop off, everything was well organized, transparency in pricing, friendly and responsible team on the all steps. I've moved within GTA for my past 20 years six times and my maximum evaluation was 3 stars. It was my first long distance moving. Due to my profession, I'm somewhat picky man, and , I had one week free time to research this market. I surveyed 15 companies by 7 entrances just for some kind of experiment. The Centennial Moving was the winner by a wide margin. At the end, it was a surprised fast delivery - 2,5 weeks ( the most companies give 4~6 weeks (Toronto to St. Albert , AB). Everything was delivered in good shape and for the last handkerchief. Thanks to the office team was providing me almost a real time tracking and any changes. Highly recommend this company.
GOOD TEAM - GOOD JOB.

Great Moving Company. Greater care of furniture

Moved from West of Canada to the east. Pricey move but worth it. I would definitely recommend this company, as their movers are very professional and handle your furniture with care and efficiency. Customer service is also decent. The only downside is a long wait for the arrival, but that depends on the distance I guess. Thumbs up for this one

Dear Swati,

We are sorry to hear that you had less than an excellent experience. As was discussed in your communication with our Quality Control department, the compensation for any damage is calculated based on the weight of the item, not its value. It is indicated in our Claims Policy and in our Terms & Conditions which are part of your contract. The contract also indicates the condition of the items at the time of pick up.
The Extended Coverage also carries a $300 deductible, which is also indicated in the Terms & Conditions. We are trying to resolve this efficiently and fairly to everyone involved, so please feel free to reach out to us, so we can try to assist you.
