Centennial Moving

Company is awful. Lost a lot of staff and did not want to pay for it. A lot of damaged furniture during of moving. It's cheaper then others but waste money.
Do use this company.

I picked this company because I read some of the reviews and it was one of the best reviewed company. Rated 9.2 by 121 customers. That means very trustable for me.
However..
I have moved from london to nanaimo, sent funitures and my car on 15th of August and it is 3rd of September.
I still have not recieved my car yet, the dispatch manager doesn't even know where my car is. Said let me know right away and it's been 5 days. Their phone is not even working.
Although I recieved my funitures, missing a box. Some was broken, bad damage, and the guy who delivered it was almost forcing me to sign because he had to leave..
Please do not just pick this company.
I really wish some high manager of the company contact me so I can solve this problems..
I have not seen my car for 3 weeks now.. maybe I should call police soon.

This company is amazing! I moved with from 2 bdr apt in Montreal to a 2 bdr house in Toronto. Centennial Moving finished my move a lot faster than I thought. Very efficient, trustworthy and hard working team. The moving truck was fully equipped - good job guys! Highly recommend them to everyone.

I'd like to thank Centennial Moving for helping me with my move from Toronto ON to Calgary AB.
The loading went really fast. I didn’t expect that it will be that fast. The movers worked professionally.
I have a lot of fragile and expensive items and they delivered them to Calgary sooner than I expected and all in one piece.That’s good.
Also, I want to say thank you for the person that was coordinating and helping me by phone and email. He gave all the information about every thing so no surprises would happen during the move.
And for the record, the price was more than just good. The price was cheap and high-quality service was provided all the way.

My Girlfriend and I made the move from Calgary, Alberta to Toronto, Ontario and decided to choose Centennial Moving since they received great reviews from most people.
We booked the pick up date and paid the deposit fee, since we were in an apartment we needed to book the elevator and gave them a 3 hr time slot(12pm-3pm) for when they could arrive. They told us thanks for the confirmation and they would be there from 1pm-2pm. They asked me if a 72ft foot truck could fit on the street and I said maybe because there is an alley behind the building. I read other online review and noticed there would be an extra fee if the truck couldn't fit which is ridiculous considering downtown Calgary has a lot of tight spaces that aren't transport friendly....

Fast forward to the move date, I get a call saying that they have arrived. I go downstairs to let them in and realize that it is a totally different size truck/company "Miracle Movers". I've heard horror stories of people picking up your items and never seeing them again so I called Centennial to make sure what they told me was true. He told me that they couldn't fit a 72ft truck so they rented one from another company. I said it would have been nice to know since these are my belongings. It seemed like they did not care to inform me of what was actually going on, but we needed to be out that day so we continued to go ahead.
Our belongings were all loaded and we made a list for ourselves as well as labelled each item multiple times since the scribbles on the form they fill out are barely legible.

Fast forward to the delivery date...They show up to our condo 2 hrs early and ask if they are able to unload. Stating there would be a fee when I clearly told them not to come before 2pm since that was when the elevator was booked. I checked with concierge and no one was using the elevator at that time so I was able to use it, luckily.

We get our items unloaded into the condo and noticed that they are beginning to unload another persons items; furniture that isn't ours. We tell them that the furniture isn't ours and his response was "haha oh, well I guess we forgot to deliver it to the person before you." and took it back to the truck. Before we sign the papers we notice that they forgot to deliver some of my expensive personal items(collector shoes)$600+ which were plastic wrapped together wit my name written on it in permanent marker. I tell them this and they said to write it on the contract and file a claim with the office which I do.

The response from the office is less than helpful since they state they have no idea where my items went and maybe it was delivered to someone else. Of course at this point I know they weren't delivered to someone else and one of their employees took them because my girlfriend and I labelled every item thoroughly with our names on it to prevent this from happening.

At the end of the day my items are never to be found again and they are ignoring my emails. I paid a lot of money for this service and am hurt by how I was treated. My advice to you is that if you value your possessions do not use this company. The reviews may be good, but they are no different from any other moving company out there. I wish I would have picked up on their disregard for my personal items earlier. I guess you live and learn.

Even though I am going through the unfortunate event of splitting up with my long-term partner, I am happy that I came upon these wonderful people with warm and kind hearts. They have been more than professional, I could feel their kindness and support while they were moving all my belongings into my new apartment. It was a complicated move since both me and my partner, moved the same day, but the movers managed their way through, and did everything even better than it was expected! Thank you from the heart, Centennial Moving!

I booked this company to move my daughter from BC to Ontario. They gave us a 6 day window when they would come, well the truck broke down ect..., we had to arrange someone to return to condo to be there when movers came as they were late by several days.
They were to store belongings and deliver them on a set day, for an additional fee of 375$.We arrived staying in a hotel the day prior to delivery, they demanded payment as was a Sunday...the stuff did not come until Friday, they refuse to give compensation or refund 375$When delivered they dumped it did not reassemble anything. The management was polite, but unwilling to do anything. The situation caused unneeded stress! Be wary!
The car was moved without incident.

I moved from Vancouver to Toronto a 2 bedroom house. I want to say thank you for the people that organized the move. The coordinator was very kind, told me all the information that I needed for my move. The movers came right on time. They worked fast and they are real professionals. It was very exciting to see how they work. My goods came in Toronto even earlier then I thought, because I asked if they can bring them in Toronto a little bit earlier. Thank you very much for good service.

Centennial did a great job moving our stuff from Penticton, BC to Toronto, Ontario. The movers were very quick. They explained the whole process from A to Z and were friendly and super efficient and put my furniture in each room and assemble back my queen bed. The entire moving process was professional to me and I wouldn’t hesitate contacting them again for future moves if any.

I would like to really thank Centennial for the amazing job they have done, professional movers, informative employees, clean trucks, all the process went very well, pick up and delivery was on time and this was my major concern but they managed to get my furniture on time, got really amazing experience and definitely will come back to Centennial for any of my moves or even in my network.
